It's not like the French treated the Algerians poorly or anything, right? I mean, aside from systematically confiscating their most fertile land, denying them basic citizenship, and subjecting them to a separate, highly punitive legal system for over a century, everything was great! The fact that Algerians want to live in France shows they want to live *equally* under French rule, not as subjects. Maybe France can try again?

@VDAREJamesK Reactionary types (orthobros, etc.) are more likely to convert. Islam is already "based" - it's martial (not just larping about crusades), no secular law, women know their place, etc. It's much easier to convert than attempt to make your local church "based." Signs already.

De-risking works!!! 🇹🇼 Taiwan’s GDP increased by 8.63% in 2025, up from 5.27% in 2024. Since 2016, China has used heavy coercive tactics against Taiwan. Taiwanese invested domestically and SEA supply chain after cutting their losses in China, unlike Europe (UK and Germany) which continued pouring billions into China instead of rebuilding their supply chain and investing in their people.
