This is @garyvee and the face behind the @veefriends IP So much passion, and a no bullshit approach to creating his own version of Pokemon and Marvel. The idea is brilliant, create a bunch of characters and then pair the characters with a certain character trait. Eg Empathy Elephant, Decisive Duck, Humble Hedgehog etc So many Web 3 products out there but in my opinion this is by far the best. Gary and the team bring enthusiasm to life all while building a collectible world including, NFTs, trading cards, comics, figurines and super stickers. Collaborating with brands like Walmart and superstars like Stephen Curry the @veefriends brand is only just getting started 🔥 Take a moment to listen here;

I’d prefer a macro work ethic, coupled with macro patience. Micro meaning “minimal” in my eyes. Work ethic, in my opinion, involves research, learning, networking and being present. We all need a great work ethic, even more so in troubled/bear markets. Crypto is definitely not for the lazy ❤️

Officially down 32 pounds since October 212-180 For most of 24-25 I was focused on markets, streams and growing the TG channel I stopped hitting the gym, and started eating strictly DoorDash and restaurant food My energy levels suffered and felt like I was dragging everyday But now I feel exponentially more energized and have become addicted to hitting the next goal A few things that made the difference: -Fasting (16 hr and one 24 hr fast a week) -8-10k steps everyday..gym 4+days a week -Cut out sugar -Good sleep routine (under rated) Goals for Q1: Burn 5 more pounds of fat before optimizing for muscle gains (slight caloric surplus) If you’ve been waiting for a sign to get dialed before the next bull..do it If this post gets 100 likes the next one will come with a progress picture lmao

So true @garyvee Since joining X a couple of years ago I’m simply amazed at the American “celebrity” culture. You guys rate your celebrities like they are heavenly saints. Everything from political endorsements to over excitement from a simple follow back. Why anyone cares about your favorite singers politics endorsements is beyond me. The great thing about Australian culture is we don’t worship celebrities. It’s called “tall poppy syndrome” here. If you get too big for your boots in Aus we have a habit of bringing them back down to earth and teaching them humility. Who gives a flying fuck about other people’s opinions. Being comfortable in our own skins is key 🔥

NFT projects that don't flesh out their characters' stories aren't really building IP. They might be building a community around a contract, which is great, but it's not the same thing. And multi-character universes give you far more at-bats than one iteration of the same character. Not a dig at any project, just some brain-to-keyboard thoughts.

I shared the why on my "Trifecta" acquisitions from 2025 - now for the why on the Emerald Spec Ninja. Let me start with something @garyvee said in passing on a recent stream - VeeFriends has sold over $330 million in digital collectibles. This spec was purely a collectible purchase, in spite of it having 80+/-% of the utility of a VF1 spec. The global digital collectibles market is estimated at $50-60 billion with an estimated CAGR of 30-40%, that's a ten-year market cap of $700+ billion. "NFTs are dead" is horse shit. Many NFT projects are - but some have meaningful IP with an opportunity to grow into "culture". If I were a time traveler, I'd go back and buy every meaningful Spider-Man collectible. I'm not, so I have to project forward and speculate. I evaluated the characters in the VeeFriends world, the stories that are being told, the stratification of bids in Chrome and other card breaks, and to me there were a few I thought *so far* had a better than average chance to be VeeFriends' Spidey: - Notorious Ninja - Fearless Fairy - Kind Warrior - Heart Trooper (even lacking a story right now) "But those aren't even the *top characters*"..."What about the black cat/panda/" Right, I'm not dismissing character affinity and power. But here's the thing: they're human(oid) and they stand/fight for something. For me, those two elements trump current character power/valuation when it comes to cultural significance and the Spidey parallel. Think Halloween costumes and Comic Con cosplays, and now "Me as" AI videos. Think quotes like "with great power comes great responsibility" permeating the culture and how that is an indelible part of the character. The human aspect is an important part of the long term relevance of the character. Anyway, I wanted what I considered to be the grail/top collectible for one of those characters. I see a non zero likelihood that the Ninja's story translates well into a series (in many possible formats) and hits the mark with a broad cross section of collectors. So I went after the Emerald rookie spectacular. It was a lot, yes. It was a 45+x to the collection floor price. But man, if the Ninja hits, this is the eternal, immutable, indestructible, rookie superdooperfractor 1/1 of one of the biggest characters in what I see as a significant cultural IP. I'm good with that risk, and that upside. *Thwip*

Yeah I guess we are the only living “animals” with the ability to observe our own thoughts. Interesting to thinkabout “wrestling” with God. We as Christian’s are bought up to believe “put your faith”in God and all will be ok. Far from it in reality. Living a Christ like life is extremely difficult and I personally think it was designed that way. 👍 I don’t think Jesus died on the cross to make our lives easier if we follow the way. All that suffering so we can all live happily in heaven. It’s one of life’s greatest metaphors in my humble opinion.

@Humbledswine I believe the image is mind, not physical. Metacognition, the ability to observe one's own thoughts. The art of meditation is this. Not the performative silence of a monk. But a warrior taking the sword to himself. The archetype of Christ is this. God demands we wrestle with him.

We are notes in that language, alphabets for forces we cannot fathom, sounded into being by breath older than stars.
