@433gary @cienfuegos1958 @FennellJW That wasn't our best game in years. We scored early and then sat back and just defended until they scored again, then we just defended for pens and lost. If we had Tuchel, we would've kept attacking and put the game to bed.

A Gareth Southgate coached England could have got to this stage in the World Cup. Its the next game(s) that will determine if the FA made the right decision hiring Thomas Tuchel.

Tuchel has instilled a proper mentality in the team, we would've gotten destroyed by Norway under Southgate IF we made it past Mexico which I doubt we do. They had every advantage in the book.

It could go as well as the back-to-back thrashings of Wales and Senegal at the last World Cup, or as cagey as the tactixal dismantling of Netherlands at the euros.
