"Shafting people retrospectively" is a moral argument, not a legal or practical one. But to offer a moral one: if we know that Boriswave is overwhelmingly harmful for the nation, are we not morally obliged to reverse it?

I confess to being genuinely torn on the Boriswave ILR situation. I'd generally buy the argument you shouldn't shaft people retrospectively. But then you read stuff about one pizza shop sponsoring 38 people and care home workers bringing in 12 dependents a go and it's Dear God.

@Albrochier No they are not, it was a private function, away from the public gaze, and fully supported by the owners of the building. We have lots of Jewish, Sikh and Catholic religious festivals - even the Mormons, Moonies and Seventh Day Adventists get a look it. This is racism dressed up.
