@weatherdak Likely a prescribed fire on the Homochitto National Forest. Gonna need more prescribed fire for fuel reduction now. If not, it could get crazy next wildfire season.

The impressive tornado scar from the EF3 that ripped across southwest Mississippi last week. It went through an area that was on fire about two months prior.

Crazy what the tornado did to trees

@Weatherchasing_ What’s crazy is about 400 yards south on Stonybrook homes had trees down all around them but no visible damage to them.

Unsure if this was county equipment but the district road crews were out clearing with chainsaws. Copiah County volunteers stepped up to serve big time tonight as well. Please pray for Bogue Chitto and East Lincoln.

Sounds like some bad damage in south Lincoln County listening to the radio. Including a tree down on a vehicle in East Lincoln with people trapped.
