I’ve lived in Mogadishu during the entire period of the civil war; in most cases it’s hard to win in an urban battle. One side seizes a few blocks in the morning only to lose it in the afternoon. The frontlines essentially stayed exactly the same throughout. In the end there was no winner but the country lost big time. #SudanConflict

There are around 30 Land cruisers in Laftagreen's House in Mogadishu and reportedly 12 million dollars in his Sirad Bank Account in Turkey. You are the Speaker with government oversight role and you can't renovate the historical house in Brava, too bad.

This monumental lighthouse building which is a symbol of the city of #Barawe is in danger of collapsing. It is built with reinforced concrete. Experienced engineers are needed to rehabilitate the building. Protecting our historical iconic buildings requires citizen participation.
