We’re working more hours than ever before, yet we’re still struggling to make ends meet.
Food prices are ridiculous, rent is a joke, and bills are choking us.
They keep telling us everything is getting better.
Who the hell are they talking to? Because it definitely ain’t us.
We’re all working harder than ever, yet most of us feel poorer than we did a few years ago.
Rent is up, food is up, bills are up — but wages barely move.
Something is seriously wrong with this country.
We’re not lazy. We’re being squeezed dry.
They keep saying the economy is improving while rent, food and bills go through the roof.
Our wages? Still the same.
Stop lying to us. We’re getting absolutely rinsed.
Everything is getting more expensive, but our wages are staying exactly the same.
Rent is up.
Food is up.
Bills are up.
We’re working harder than ever just to stand still.
How are normal people supposed to survive this for much longer?
Both.
Energy costs, business rates and employment costs are definitely high — that’s true.
But let’s not pretend there isn’t also straight-up greedy profiteering happening.
A lot of supermarkets and big chains are using inflation as an excuse to hike prices way beyond their increased costs.
The truth is, we’re getting rinsed from both directions — high running costs for businesses and companies taking the mick because they know people have no choice but to pay.
We’re stuck in the middle getting f****d.
Why is everything so expensive in this country?
Just been into my local village butchers and bought 4 lamb chops. £14. That's double what they are in Aldi but they're twice the size of Aldi's so that's ok.
But in my favourite restaurant in Los Gigantes, Tenerife, you can get 6 lamb chops, chips, salad and a carafe of wine for 13 euros. And they import the lamb from New Zealand too.
Is it just because our energy costs, business rates and employment costs are so high or is there a lot of greedy profiteering going on here in the UK?
Everything is getting more expensive but our wages are staying the same.
Rent. Food. Bills. Petrol.
We’re working harder than ever just to stay broke.
How much longer are we expected to accept this?
Nobody cares about your excuses.
The bills don’t care that you’re tired.
The landlord doesn’t care that wages are low.
The supermarket doesn’t care that your shop is more expensive than last month.
The world is not getting softer — it’s getting harder.
So you have two choices:
Stay comfortable and stay broke…
or get uncomfortable and change your situation.
The choice is yours.
"Everything in our world is fake."
"Our food is fake. Our news is fake. Our politicians are fake. Our history is fake. Even our financial system is fake."
"I do not believe anything that I see anymore because, after the last five years, I realize that there are narratives being pushed, there are distractions being pushed, and we are watching a movie, so that the people in control can move the chess pieces."
