National treasure, Jordan Derrick (better known as Dugan Ashley), has been arrested by the feds. Charging language below ⬇️ His videos, that are cited in the language below, have been on the internet for years and are still up on his social media as of this post... "KANSAS CITY, Mo. – United States Attorney R. Matthew Price today announced the filing of a criminal complaint against Jordan Derrick, 40. The complaint charges Derrick with one count of engaging in the business of manufacturing explosive materials without a license, one count of unlawful possession of an unregistered destructive device, and one count of distributing information relating to manufacturing explosives, in violation of U.S. law. The complaint alleges that beginning no later than Sept. 18, 2023, Derrick began using several social media sites to distribute videos of himself making various explosive materials, to include detonators, nickel aminoguanidine perchlorate (NAP), ethylene glycol dinitrate (EGDN), hexamethylene triperoxide diamine (HMTD), hexamine dinitrate (HDN), Research Department eXplosive (RDX), silver acetylide double salt (SADS), trinitroxylene (TNX or R-salt), trinitrotoluene (TNT), pentaerythritol tetranitrate (PETN), aminoguanidine bicarbonate, and ammonium nitrate/nitromethane (ANNM). In his videos, Derrick provided step-by-step instructions on how to make these explosives. According to the complaint, Derrick’s videos were downloaded from his publicly available video sharing accounts and used by Shamsud-Din Jabbar, the individual who conducted an attack in New Orleans on Jan. 1, 2025. Jabbar had created IEDs consistent with Derrick’s instructional videos. The devices placed by Jabbar did not detonate and were subsequently rendered safe by law enforcement. Also, according to the complaint, on May 4, 2026, an explosion occurred at a private residence in Odessa, Mo. Investigators who searched the private residence after the explosion, found two components suspected of being used in explosive devices. The occupant of the residence told investigators that he manufactured explosive devices after watching online tutorials on a social media account that is believed to be utilized by Derrick to distribute information relating to the manufacture of explosives. An investigation of the Odessa explosion is ongoing. If convicted of engaging in the business of manufacturing explosive materials without a license, Derrick would be subject to a sentence of up to 10 years in federal prison. If convicted of unlawfully possessing an unregistered destructive device, Derrick would be subject to a sentence of up to 10 years in federal prison. If convicted of distributing information relating to the manufacture of explosives, Derrick would be subject to a sentence of up to 20 years in federal prison. In the federal judicial system, there is not the possibility of parole. These maximum statutory sentences are prescribed by Congress, and they are provided here for informational purposes. Any sentence would be determined by the court based on the advisory sentencing guidelines and other statutory factors. This case is being prosecuted by Assistant U.S. Attorney Trey Alford and Special Assistant U.S. Attorney Brandon Chlarson with valuable assistance provided by Trial Attorney Michael Dittoe of the National Security Division. It was investigated by the Federal Bureau of Investigation. 👊Got word this morning that the new machine shop is starting the rest of the @j6_qd_now prototype parts now. It has been a whirlwind of false starts with different machine shops and bad CAD skills on my part. Trunnions are already made, and Collars & Handguard Sleeves are being machined. In the meantime, I will be making some of the small parts in-house for prototype purposes & assembling pins, set-screws, etc. Won't be long and we can start getting test QD barrel systems out for the @L6_Underground upper. @Hutson_Arms @jerrycurld @HoffmanTactical @stankycheeese

The ATF has posted summaries of the new regulations, which include: 1) Repeal Biden's pistol brace rule 2) Revising "engaged in the business" rule 3) Revising machine gun definition in response to Cargill decision 4) Remove requirement for FFLs to post info about Youth Handgun Safety Act 5) Revising 4473 form, including allowing electronic forms and increase the time NICS checks remain valid 6) Allow FFLs to keep electronic records 7) Replace indefinite retention of 4473s with definite time periods of 20 or 30 years 8) Allow “Non-Over-the-Counter” firearm sales by FFLs to residents of the same state 9) Repeal interstate NFA transport notice requirement for trips under 365 days, with all others no longer requiring approval before transport 10) Joint NFA registration for married couples 11) Remove NFA CLEO notification 12) Clarify that "common, reasonably necessary activities during travel" are covered by FOPA transportation protection 13) Allow import of dual-use frames, receivers, and barrels 14) Clarify that "training rounds" are not ammunition 15) Eliminate engraving requirement for people making NFA firearms out of existing serialized guns 16) "Clarify that a person receiving assistance in only one functional area (such as financial management) would not, on that basis alone, be considered prohibited" under mental health disqualifier 17) Requiring biological sex on ATF Forms 18) Clarify when a transaction is a straw purchase 19) Formally define "willfully" for firearms violations 20) "Remove the list of former Soviet countries from which ATF currently denies applications to permanently import most firearms and ammunition, retaining only the Russian Federation" atf.gov/rules-and-regu…

New Irons are pretty hawt. @L6_Underground

I made some tweaks and refinements to the fixed sights. They are less curved and more angular.  I widened the base a touch and gave it a nice taper to the sight post platform.  There will be two options,  an "M4" and a Hooded profile.  They both use AR15 front sight posts. Im trying to gauge how many would prefer the Fixed front sight vs the riser and pic rail section.  What do you all think?

I’m starting to kinda like the short handguards on the midlength system.

@ProjectSLAIR @HoffmanTactical That’s not just a solidworks problem. Fusion suffers similar issues in my experience.

@HoffmanTactical My gripe with it has always been crashing issues. But it hasn’t crashed for me in quite a while.

People must not understand how to use the software.

@MikeCsencsits It will work with most all BAR style rails. i.e. MAS Defence, Spikes Tactical Rails and Aero Enhanced Rails. I am also working to get this compatible with @RedRightHandLLC handguards for the Lima 6.

@Hutson_Arms Will it work with any rail?

This kit is compatible with full profile .980 barrels and will be available in Carbine and Mid-Length gas with either a .750 or .875 gas journal. The optional rail riser brings the front sight base up to the exact same plane as found on the Lima six top cover.

@RLeeMX_90 @L6_Underground @WeaponOutfitter It will require one modification to the upper receiver. That’s all already worked out. I have 10 prototypes kits coming. T&E will mainly be fit, and function. Gas port sizes for various configurations for example, .875 vs .750 journal and mid vs carbine length gas.

@L6_Underground @WeaponOutfitter So would this just drop in, or would there need to be big changes? Or still figuring all that out hence the prototype?
