But I’m not delusional, you’re entirely right. That won’t ever stop me from being a huge Inosuke fan and Rengoku simp.
But it’s really not that deep and I think the writing is mid at best, carried by some gorgeous ass visuals and a fun time.

@chilly_recs Every Demon Slayer character was assigned exactly (1) personality trait which results in all of them feeling one note. While the story is good it’s about as depthy as a kiddie pool in July

Which I KNOW Naruto isn’t just “fighting” but it’s long and not new viewer friendly imo even if it is a first for a lot of people.
Something like Cowboy Bebop & Death Note are great introductions but that’s just me ig
