@payforexposure No it's just a simple linear map, I tried ACES at the beginning but it killed the subtle shading on the hulls making everything flatter so I went back to the simplest option some months ago.

@HydrofoilG hey, i was wondering which tonemap are you using? is it ACES?

@SunnyBTC As far as I know it's due to failure to find fonts. Arial, Consolas and Segoe UI. Sadly I am not familiar enough with Linux/Proton to know how to install those.

@HydrofoilG Hey! I picked up Hydrofoil Generation today. I'm running steam on linux, when I start the game it crashes on the third splashscreen showing the "Hydrofoil Generation" logo. Do you know if this is a known issue? I've not done much digging but happy to help troubleshoot

@DjFIL007 @JimmyBroadbent @AC_assettocorsa @KunosStefano Yes to all of those. Controls can be either assigned to 2 "buttons" or to an "axis". I have a modded G27 with 2 "thumbwheels" for foils and sails controls, so it's totally doable.

@indyprime05 There are in-game tutorials meant to introduce full beginners to the game. Currently there are 10 tutorials bringing you from total novice to manual foiling and sailing.. more will be added with future updates covering advanced stuff such as setups and advanced sail trims

@HydrofoilG Is there training for this? It looks fairly complicated and very interesting. Also, is it keyboard only? Can you use a steering wheel?

@JimmyBroadbent @AC_assettocorsa @KunosStefano YES Jimmy! With Force Feedback too. Not the best tho for full manual control. A decent compromise is wheel + mouse wheel for the foils and auto sails.
