I'm seeing a some people are upset at the placement for Rivals of Aether 2 at EVO For anyone unaware, I am the publisher for that game I also remember being in the crowd at EVO 2016 and watching hungrybox beat armada through losers It was a seminal weekend for me. I returned from Vegas and started grinding smash, got my ass beat. Then I started grinding commentary, and later on that turned into streaming To have another platform fighter, and it be the one I publish, means something to me (regardless of how you feel about us...) To clarify I did buy a bunch of EVO passes to help make this the biggest Rivals 2 tournament we've ever had We handed passes to the top 128 players, ran online qualifiers, ran locals, and gave passes to TO's to give out to their community I'm sure I got taken advantage of. People sold codes, shared them without permission, and signed up with no intention of playing. But that's the price I'm willing to pay to make this the biggest Rivals 2 event we've ever had. The community has rallied around this, and I'm pumped to go to EVO this year See yall there (Saturday night)

@SaintPenguinn @Sajam Once you take out SF6/Tekken (for being a league above naturally), and RoA (due to it's numbers being inflated), competing with 2XKO for most entrants as a 5 year old game is impressive.

@Ryuvolted @LordKnightBB Honestly, I think Vash could be better in a game like Uni or something. He is more of a gunslinger than even HC is and we can't be having that in Strive. Someone using Gunkata/Gunfu would be better suited in another fighting game and I would love him there.

@Phantomzeo720 Byakuya judged Ichigo as a normal human, he wasn't. Byakuya said only nobles should have an easy time getting bankai, and Ichigo isn't related to a noble family. Ichigo is. Isshin being a captain means that Byakuya was dealing with someone more special than he realized.

Permanently hardware-ban every component attached to that motherboard 3. Force-close the game and refuse to launch it until the user turns on basic Windows security features (IOMMU) to block their cheat cards The following is not acceptable: 1. Letting pathetic losers inject hardware-level exploits into a competitive game because they are terrified of basic BIOS settings

@ManaByte I think we all agree on that. The issue lies in making the slightest change on the OS to make the hardware no longer work, even if it's just a software flag. You banned the account and won't allow the client to work with the blacklisted hw, anything more is dumb.

@Gigabear_X I personally think the best way to keep people from cheating at your game is not to just ask them to nicely stop and hope they don't find away around your anti cheat. but tell them "cheat at my game and i'll make you piss away thousands of dollars. play fair or fuck off."

@TrueGlamourGuy @Play2XKO they actually DON'T have a tournament circuit mapped out. They have a variety of events they contribute pot bonuses to like a quarterly marketing budget. there is no final circuit tournament. no cup, no grand prize. just pot bonuses.

He has the only shower with consistent hot water in the outpost and all of the counselling sessions are held here for a reason. It's the only place built to house someone not treated as a clanker.

@rosoddle The last Tennocon they held one of their devs joked about the fact that because so many people in the office play instruments they could have the develpers play as a band at the next Tennocon. and they did. They put on over an hour long show including the lead designers.

idk shit about warframe but i went to their irl devstream at pax boston 2025, and seeing their community leads be able to speak freely, talk properly about what went good/bad, the future and health of the game was crazy. Felt like they talked about the type of stuff the d2 1/2
