On one hand, the dad was right not to turn it into a scene and let his son enjoy the rest of the game. It is just a ball, after all. The good memory had already been made. They could look back and laugh at the crazy lesbian instead of looking back at a physical alteration. On the OTHER hand, fuck her. Perhaps the son needed a demonstration of how one should respond to entitled pieces of human garbage, regardless of how high or low the stakes are. Hard choice to make in the moment. I don’t think I would cave to that kind of pressure, but I’m not going to blast the father over choosing to let it go. He was the bigger man. It takes equal strength to roll with the punches as to punch back. Both are good life lessons. Even so, that woman deserves to be publicly shamed. She’s disgusting.
