@DMC_Ryan It’s unfortunate , Hellblade was a unique and high quality franchise. This is why it’s important to stay independent.

If it's really come to this – which, to be clear, I hate every last bit of it (pass the hard liquor please) – NINTENDO should buy Double Fine. I honestly think it would be an awesome fit. I'm 100% serious. ign.com/articles/ninja…

There has been a lot of hand wringing on the appropriate valuation of SpaceX. Some large institutions believe SpaceX can only be valued at half what the market seems to be willing to pay for it. Others are claiming it has 15X appreciation ahead of it. Almost all of this difference of opinion comes down to how comfortable you are modeling beyond 2030 and what valuation method you use. 2030 valuation using a traditional Gordan DCF produces a very different result than a 2040 EV/EBITDA Multiple. Both have pros and cons. Most analysts don’t really discuss this and lead with a headline number. We are very comfortable modeling out to 2040, as large portions of what SpaceX is proposing is real world infrastructure, which provides modelable physics constraints to anchor against. The analysis we released today explores this in-depth, its open to the public all the way through IPO. I highly encourage you check it out prior to then. research.33fg.com/analysis/space… We’ve run 5,000 monte carlo runs across 500 variables (real number, even though it sounds fake) and three valuation methods. This video is of a 3D cloud chart showing every simulation outcome expected in valuation output across two of the most impactful variables to the model when using an EV/EBITDA multiple from 2026 to 2040. The horizontal axis is the steepness of the orbital data center demand S-curve. The vertical axis is the rate at which chip compute efficiency becomes cheaper. Each of the 5,000 dots is one simulated future; green dots are the ones where SpaceX's 2040 value clears the $1.77T IPO line, over time. Under EV/EBITDA valuation through 2040, 96% of our simulated futures clear the expected IPO price once the bell rings Friday. We aren’t publishing this publicly to tell investors what the stock is worth, we’re publishing this to help investors understand the world of outcomes, what the fundamentals suggest through 2040, and what frankly most analysis simply won’t share. SpaceX is a generational company working on long term infrastructure harnessing a domain no one has been able to tap in so far: space. It deserves doing the work as an investor. because this in not financial advice. The cleanest way to hold SpaceX is a bond stapled to a call option (AI-Compute); Starlink is the bond, the near term SatCom annuity that funds the next flywheel. Understand the world of outcomes and take your position accordingly. Comparables and P/E won't take you far enough.

Welcome back to the Colony! The long-awaited day has finally arrived! We finally get the return of the game - GOTHIC 1 Remake ⚔️🔥 In my humble opinion, the most iconic game of all time 😁 What an incredible adventure getting to be part of a game I’ve loved since childhood. To this day, I haven’t found another game with this kind of atmosphere. If you want to get stronger, you have to find a master willing to teach you… In the near future, getting in touch with me might be a bit difficult 😉 #GothicForLife #Gothic #GothicRemake #ReturnToTheColony @gothicthegame *My character is an NPC.

I’m both cases, there is auto target locking, which is frustrating because it infers player intent instead of trusting player input. Imagine how odd it would be if a FPS auto aimed at the nearest target. That’s how I feel about Witcher 3 and Souls likes. I prefer Mordhau combat. Full player control . No auto aiming.

Souls-like fans REFUSE to accept that this combat is WAY better than parrying a boss that has a BILLION health over and over again for an hour.

Check out the full-body combat physics. I've added low blocks, so you can defend leg attacks, torso attacks, and head attacks by moving the mouse cursor towards the oncoming weapon. The defensive training gauntlet is almost feature-complete. #PCGAMING

The game allowed up to 4 player coop Players would be able to cast spells like fire/lightning balls, ice walls, and tornados. Notice how the tornado disrupts the boss' fire breath.

I love that you could switch to an over the shoulder camera where you AIM your MELEE weapon. Id love to see this system explored for more realistic armored fighting, where you aim at the gaps and push your opponent off balance etc.

Deep Down (2013) Beautiful visual design and interesting ideas for combat. 3rd person hack and slash mechanics and OTS camera that allowed you to aim your weapon accurately.

Check out the impact responses in BLOODFALL! My Mouse & keyboard PC Steam game. The blade actively stabilizes itself on all 6 degrees of freedom using only physics forces within Unity. Found some cool music that matches it. The weapon clashes sort of sound like they're part of the rhythm if I time the attack sequence correctly. Bloodfall could have a rhythm based training mode. #PCGaming

BLOODFALL is not a "middle ground" between "hardcore " and "casual" gaming . That is incorrect perspective. This is way more hardcore than Exanima, but also way more accessible. Here, the controls are made as easy as possible so that the challenge is in the gameplay, not the controls.

Yeah, that's a thing, There's a line to that. Some people just want to do everything so they can feel immerse in the combat. There are crazy people that would go play these hardcore game and people who play casual game like Sekiro where one button does everything (deflecting) This is in a middle, would probably hit someone's spot.

This solo indie dev is making a physics-driven PC combat sim. THIS IS NOT VR?! - Mouse directly controls the sword - Zero animations - Redirect or cancel any swing mid-move Would you play this? It's called BLOODFALL.

The problem with these kind of games is that the gameplay is boring af. Fun game loops forces you to make decisions that have risk versus reward or compels you to do stuff because you’re curious (story wise or gameplay wise). But making a game solely because you wanted a physics driven sword combat won’t cut it. Oh okay, move the sword in all directions a few times after 3 minutes the novelty has worn off. Then what?

@bulentiques @keirannr @IndieGameJoe Similar idea, but very different feel, technology, and execution. Die by the sword characters feel like 1920s clockwork robots - here you move with the speed and fluidity of a master swordsman, and Weapons behave like elastic solids, not dead weights
