I went back and watched some footage from around release. The current version has a lot of good changes, but the guns felt much better back then than they do now. If you played HD2 at launch, go watch those early videos, you’ll see the difference. The gunplay kept getting worse.

I also looked a little more into the actual reviews after seeing Thiccfila's post and after diving a little deeper a lot of positive reviews over 100 hours have less than 5 hours played in the last 2 weeks.
