hyperdash can't even properly track wallets that are long spot and short on perps to sort them into the right profitability cohorts. Tracking "profitable" wallets is midwit behavior to make SOL bubblemap bros feel like they are doing some sort of analytical detective work that will improve their pnl.

- might turn out true decentralisation (anyone able to run a node that can directly place orders) is impossible or unrealistic - what’s stopping a 0 fee competitor from replicating the entire stack, community owned liquidator&vaults, builder deployed perps, builder codes, the whole farm? there’s no clear magic ingredient HL has besides having been first, maybe that will be enough maybe it won’t.

Give me your best Hyperliquid FUD. Most things that people feared in the past got already thrown out the window. Fair critics: - Sill rather centralized (30 validators) - Team unlocks need more clarity. They have unlocked only ~140k HYPE last month but still is a month to month thing. What else?

@signulll selecting a particular game based on having the best perceived advantage in that game, is itself a numbers game.

i have zero desire to play anything that’s a “numbers” game. it’s just not my thing. if i don’t have any insight/arbitrage/advantage, i just never feel like playing. it’s like writing a brute force algorithm, just feels pretty fucking icky. i.e. brute forcing seems like an absolute insult to the problem.

You can just copy trade the top performing Hyperliquid trading bots. Follower account, a user copy trading bot 3 on Hyperformance, caught the $ZRO drop from $2.05 to $1.62, perfectly timing the short position close during the 3-4 minutes that the price was at the pico-bottom, because that's what happens when you copy trade a 5.7-sharpe trading algo.

Hyperformance Copy Trading is now live. Hyperformance continuously scans and analyzes all 1m+ wallets trading perps on Hyperliquid. Wallets that trade manually (clicking buttons) are filtered out, no matter how good their trading performance is. It's just not worth copy trading humans. Humans cannot trade 100% systematically 100% of the time. The result: all wallets available to copy trade on Hyperformance are trading bots. It's a fundamentally new kind of copy trading: Trading bot copy trading. Try the next generation of onchain copy trading now → app.hyperformance.xyz

The Hyperliquid builder code ecosystem has come a long way. Over $45M in total revenue has already been generated, with the top two apps — Phantom and Based — each earning roughly $11M in only a few months and 5 other apps earning over $1M each. The most successful apps have built unique user experiences and focused on onboarding net new users from outside the Hyperliquid ecosystem. What we’ve seen to date has mostly catered to crypto’s early adopters. A larger opportunity lies in creating the seamless, zero-friction experience that brings in mainstream users globally. With HIP-3 now live, the tools are in place to build entirely new categories of applications that can appeal to billions of people worldwide. The kind of product where users never need to know (or care) that there is a blockchain running under the hood, all with an incredible mobile UX and seamless fiat onboarding. Powered by Hyperliquid

@Colasama The only known way to get the full L1 is to fetch all ~800m explorerBlocks which would then let you derive complete l2book state.

How do you guys even collect/maintain orderbook data? It's almost like mission impossible. l2book snapshots from HL only gives you 20 levels. That's like 0.02% away from mid for many asset, pretty useless if you want to do anything sophisticated. Yea, you can run your own node to get more levels. But you lack historical data to backtest anything, duh...

A common question I’ve heard in Seoul is: what makes Hyperliquid special? I haven't found a way to distill it all into a sentence, but one reason that stood out to me the past few days is the culture of dreaming big and executing, while staying true to the original ethos of defi: integrity, fairness, and transparency. The work is hard, and there are many crucial components to be built. But that’s the beauty of the Hyperliquid community. Builders rise to the challenge and push the frontier of what is possible. I’ve never been more excited to continue building alongside everyone. Since beginning work on Hyperliquid a few years ago, this was my first time traveling to meet so many community members, and also my first time in Korea. Thank you to @hlh_build organizers @hyperpc_ and @B__Harvest for an incredible hackathon, to @christyhwchoi for the thoughtful fireside chat at KBW, and to @SKYGG_Official/@hypurrcorea, @hypurr_co, and @Hyperliquid_KR for tonight’s community event. Most of all, thank you to the builders, traders, and community members who give Hyperliquid its soul. I’m blown away by the hospitality, energy, and talent growing every day. There’s a long journey ahead to house all of finance, but it’s good to appreciate how far we’ve come together.

@xmgnr there is always demand for any coherent sounding answer to "what caused the price action I saw just now?".

Machi's trading style is fascinating to me He only trades ETH, HYPE, & PUMP on Hyperliquid, basically buying every .5% dip & selling every .5% rip Buys are always market orders (8am-12am Taiwan time), sells are usually scale limit orders (more 24/7) He's up +$19M this month, with $627M of volume in the last 14 days

In just 13 days since offering self-custodial perpetual future trading to their userbase, @phantom has raked in their first, and likely slowest, $0.001b via Hyperliquid referral rewards & builder codes. Track phantom's builder code performance via hyperformance.xyz/referrals?0xb8…

The CoreWriter system contract was activated on mainnet two weeks ago. CoreWriter and read precompiles allow trustless two-way communication between HyperCore and the HyperEVM, enabling builders to create an entirely new class of HyperEVM applications that interact with the liquidity and performance of HyperCore. For example, LSTs on other chains are usually controlled by an offchain multi-sig because staking occurs outside of the VM. The next generation of Hyperliquid LSTs can be built using read precompiles and CoreWriter for an entirely onchain tokenized staking experience. Furthermore, these onchain LSTs can participate in staking-related functionality through actions initiated from the HyperEVM, such as onchain LST-holder governance to deploy HIP-3 assets. As another example, borrow lend protocols can use read precompiles to incorporate prices from order books on HyperCore into more robust oracle prices. CoreWriter then allows these protocols to trustlessly liquidate undercollateralized positions on HyperCore order books. The seamless composability of HyperCore and the HyperEVM will be essential to enabling builders and bringing finance onchain.

API? Maybe. Focus on the real shit first - building a decentralized social network that actually matters. We'll see about the tech later.
