Ok, so this is cool. @span_io rolled out a local API for local control. I now can check if my Drive is charging. I use a Powerwall integration via NetZero to set my Powerwall reserve to 100% when I plug the car in. I don't want the car charging from Powerwall. Yay!

@HypergeekWiFi I have a theory that sunlight is what degrades the mesh. I don't wear mine anywhere other than at my desk, but my desk *does* get some sunlight in the mornings. When the mesh sags, the metal bars get brutally uncomfortable on your head after about 15 minutes.

The sound signature is great, but I would not buy AirPods Max again. They’re uncomfortable after a short while and the elastic mesh in the headband wears out after about a year, leaving the heavy metal frame digging into your skull. Apple needs to redesign these.
