It’s not just replacing jobs and that’s it. Robots will replace jobs for a reason…they’ll be faster, better, and SIGNIFICANTLY cheaper. All this means is that goods and services will cost MUCH MUCH less to actually make, and provide to the public. MUCH LESS! So much less, that humans will not need to make NEARLY as much money in order to live and buy things because of how cheap everything is. That’s it: Things cost much less because robots make them. People work less because they don’t need as much money. People can afford way more than they used to be able to afford…even though they’re working a small fraction of the amount of time.

Everyone says “AI will take all the jobs.” If that happens… how does this future actually work? No jobs → no income → no spending. So who buys things? Who pays rent? Who keeps the economy moving? What am I missing here?

@malphier I've learned over the last 6 years that listening to people's opinions on games aren't worthwhile anymore. 60% of the time, they have a shit system and are complaining, 39% of the time they're complaining cause they're racist/misogynistic/bigoted. 1% worth reading.

Things that happen in the first hour and a half of Crimson Desert: > MC gets his throat slit in the first few minutes of the game > as soon as you get into the city, which is like 20 minutes in, there is a side encounter with a little girl who looks quite normal. If you help her with her cat, she invites you to her village and she just vanishes; > A beggar gives you a key to the sewer after you give it a coin, then there's a noble captured in there and when you help her, she gives you a key to what feels like an alternate dimension. Oh, then she vanishes too; > You go to the sky, where there are floating structures that is too technologically advanced for the setting. You can see the entire map from there; > You gain the ability to glide by transforming in a crow-like thing; Nothing remotely interesting, so true

(max brightness SHOULD NOT drain the battery that quick, isn't downloading anything in the background. The switch 2 is abysmal cash grab. That's it.
