Taking the train from NYC to Philly today. Arrive a couple min before departure and get straight on the train. No lines, no going through security Plenty of room to work/read/relax 1h and 2m from the center of NYC to the center of Philly. (Could be half or less with new tech) It's crazy how much better train travel is than flying for anywhere within a few hundred miles. And it's even crazier how far behind the US is than the rest of the world in HSR. (Yes, everyone is asking me what I do for a living)
