Raised millions but couldn’t afford a dev, did he expect people to do all the work for free for him?
Jordan Fried@JordanFried

@Ruggyhbar @PanteraCapital @Arrington_Cap @UTXOmgmt Simply not true. Countless hours, days, and weeks answering questions amidst the larger NFT market crash. No one showed up when we tried to build a DAO. Not a single developer offered to contribute to the code base. We did what we could. Name calling doesn’t make it true.

@JordanFried Should also sell the domain, or at least whatever percent you own of it and distribute that to them too since they were meant to be a dao owning it

@JordanFried The key holders were meant to own the domain right, afaik you only owned 50% of it yourself. They currently don’t have any of the things you promised and you have completely rugged it. Refund what’s left after expenses or you are a blatant scammer.

@thehbarbull Those fees go to consensus nodes, the mirror nodes are the ones which have to store it forever and they don’t get paid from network fees, all they can do is independently sell the data on.

Love this! Anyone wonder if $0.0001 was too cheap to store data FOREVER? Probably, so this is Hedera governance at work. There are dozens of other fees that haven’t changed. I understand if there is frustration from those that built a business around the HCS fee schedule, but life is rarely fair. I’ve heard for a very long time that HCS fees were too low, so the writing was on the wall. This is simply effective governance and the Hedera Council doing their job. Bullish IMHO Also it’s a great reminder that fees can change. They should also build a schedule to automatically adjust for inflation. Maybe not every year but every 10% move. Fixed should be fixed real world value amounts not dollar amounts with adjustments based off of network needs, usage and sustainability as we saw today. 💪

🚨Important update for Hedera users🚨 📢 Starting Jan 2026, #Hedera’s ConsensusSubmitMessage price moves from $0.0001 → $0.0008 (USD fixed). Why? ✔️ Long-term sustainability ✔️ Predictable pricing ✔️ Still one of the lowest-cost options in Web3

I'm not a pro on how this stuff works, but looks like the avg saucerswap swap consumes 285,079 gas and contains 11 child transactions, so about 26k gas per tx - 15m/26k = 576tps? not sure if that is right but it makes sense to me lol, it depends on the types of transactions i think since they are all slightly different overhead

Wait what?? "Hedera's smart contract transactions currently face limitations in terms of TPS (transactions per second). According to available information, Hedera can process around 300 TPS for smart contract execution transactions. This figure is based on the assumption that each transaction uses approximately 50,000 gas on average, which results in a throughput of 300 TPS for smart contract transactions per second. It is important to note that Hedera's advertised TPS of 10,000 transactions per second applies primarily to cryptocurrency transactions and not to smart contract execution. The smart contract service on Hedera is throttled to 10 TPS, which has been a point of discussion and criticism." 10 TPS

@LebronNft @pluto_hashpack Seems like the throttle is a lot lower than I thought, I remember them advertising the 2.0 version as 300tps for regular smart contracts. Could do abit over 10 for most within that but nowhere close to 300

@Hyzen_Lee i do as well. the genius "grok" printed it. but, a limitation to 300 tps will be an issue when true scalability is needed.

@LebronNft What is the source for that? I believe they are mixing up the numbers from the previous smart contract service with the 2.0 version. 10 was the old limit

@houdini_af If each share has a set percent ownership of the ounce it’s the buyers fault for paying over the value of the asset represented, you would expect holders to sell for more gold and for buyers to dry to bring it back to its actual value

thinking out loud. Let’s say you buy an ounce of gold for 3300 USD Then you turn it into an RWA and sell ‘shares’ of it. It’s popular and you sell more shares than expected and total value of the RWA runs to 6600 USD on the ticker. Now, 1- does this make the gold price double to match it across all markets? 2- do you have to buy another ounce OTC to balance the RWA? 3- or is it all make believe hogwash and no matter anyway?
