@nosignalerror @JdponTransfem Assuming that people would vote the exact same if this were a real scenario is juvenile thinking. Self preservation will kick in, and people will panic and press red. I'm not comfortable with that margin of error.

What's funny with red pushers is how consistently they lack a theory of mind, they genuinely cannot conceive why people always chose blue and assume it's just stupidity or virtue signaling, non individualist argument go completely above their heads
MrBeast@MrBeast

Everyone on earth takes a private vote by pressing a red or blue button. If more than 50% of people press the blue button, everyone survives. If less than 50% of people press the blue button, only people who pressed the red button survive. Which button would you press? BE HONEST.

@I3puttoften @Truth_Dragon500 You know, recently, everyone keeps trying to push the idea that men are protectors. Any man pushing red has no idea if their wife, child, siblings, mother, father, etc. has pressed blue for any reason, including by accident. They’d be doing terrible job at being protectors.

For those unfamiliar, it's actually an intelligence test to see if you are smart enough to press the red button. Red is for individualism, blue is for collectivism. If blue's percentage is lower than red, they'll all perish while those on red will survive and thrive. Individualism is a guarantee of self-preservation. Collectivism can only take you so far in short-term prosperity until it inevitably becomes long-term poverty.

@SimoneSyed Imagine being so pathetic you're radicalized by a fictional question that's boils down to game theory on Twitter posed by a YouTuber. Softer than charmin

@CoralWeezer @DrZyphox @Mike_from_PA The vote legit sits at like 43 to 57 rn. So it's actually dangerously close to the point that selecting blue kills you. You look good all the way up there on your hypothetical moral high ground though

@DrZyphox @Mike_from_PA Pretty clear which option here involves the least death. You will literally never have a 100% vote, we can barely get 51% on any vote at all. That you're willing to let anyone die on the odds 100% of people do any one thing shows two things: 1. You're dumb 2. You're selfish

@WorldDomStudios time and time again when the polls are made blue wins. Yet still those who choose red try to explain their way into sounding like the true logical choice. If cooperation is impossible why doesn't it reflect in the polls?

A person with a high enough IQ would realise society in general operates on community and cooperation. Kids, kind people, People who believe in goodwill and the people with "low IQ" would all probably choose blue, choosing red is strategically leaving them to die.
Mark Elevate@mark_elevate

@rojalita25 @FondOfBeetles Blue button doesn't put the group first. It's an IQ test and you're failing it. There is no group benefit to pressing blue. If there were an outsized reward for everyone if blue won, that would be different. But it's not how the question is written.

@kaileyinCA Luckily with your logic, us pressing red won't matter, you're confident 50.1 percent will press blue. Outcome doesn't change does it?

i don’t understand why anybody would choose the red button. asking genuinely, if you chose it - why? if 50%+ choose blue, everyone lives. if less than 50% choose red, only those who chose red live. why are you willing to sacrifice half of those people?

@I3puttoften @Truth_Dragon500 No, you will not. Not only is the world kept afloat by people who do skilled labor but aren’t the brightest… you will also likely lose friends and family members to this decision. Shows you have no one in your life you’d sacrifice yourself to try to protect.

@YorhA_licia Sorry but you're reading comprehension isn't there. This is saying it's okay to play on the easiest difficulty setting as long as you're having fun. Which is 100% true

No. Los juegos pueden ser difíciles y divertidos. Juega como quieras, pero decir que "deben ser fáciles para ser divertidos" suena igual de cerrado e ingenuo como los soulsbros que creen que todo debe ser difícil.
