#CFTennis gets a win over a really good CRJefferson team, 7-2. All three doubles got wins as well as Ben Smalley, Luke Berger, Jake Hardman, and Ernie Plunkett in singles. Good luck to Jefferson the rest of the season and congrats on their 6-3 win over WDM Valley earlier today!

RESULTS: CR Jeff def. #10 Valley 7-2 Cedar Falls def. CR Jeff 7-2 today as well The MVC continues to prove themselves, expect the conference to make a splash in the rankings this week!

@IowaNILNation Compare UTR on Mason City to Linn-Mar. Almost identical outside of the one spot.

@IATennisReport Linn-Mar would beat Mason City 9-0. Valley also doesn’t have a good win on the season. Rankings should be based on who you beat, rather than who you lose to. Lots of teams ranked with bad schedules this year. Encourage teams to schedule other good teams.

@IowaNILNation @IowaTennisPoll Check out my rankings, I don't have Ames ranked. CF has some losses to teams not on the radar of being ranked which is why I personally have Valley in my top ten over them.

@IATennisReport @IowaTennisPoll CF lost 2-7 to Mason City while losing two supers and another set tiebreaker. Ames lost to Mason City 9-0, no tiebreakers, and didn’t win a set. Ames only has wins against DMEast, Ottumwa, DesMoines Lincoln and Fort Dodge. Do you think Ames deserves a Top-10 spot?

@iowahstennis @IATennisReport It was a helluva match that included at least two set tie breakers, 3 or 4 3rd set super tie breaks, and a ton of games that were decided on no ad deuce points. It was one of the most competitive matches I’ve ever seen. Doubles first model definitely cranks up the intensity!

Possibly the match of the year at Noon (5/2) #1 Wahlert vs #2 Xavier The two familiar foes will battle it out for who will be the one seed at team state!

@IATennisReport Which is why I’ve said playing dubs first is dumb in case a #1 player got hurt in dubs. Affects lineup way more than playing singles normal and filling in a dub player.
