The United States’ responsibility is to human rights. That means supporting the safety of the Israeli people and preventing the ethnic cleansing of Palestinians.

Last night, Jill and I were honored to mark a new tradition: the lighting of the first ever permanent White House menorah – the first Jewish artifact in the entire White House collection.

I just want to make a few things clear: The Holocaust happened. Hitler was a demonic figure. And instead of giving it a platform, our political leaders should be calling out and rejecting antisemitism wherever it hides. Silence is complicity.

The fact that you don’t realize how problematic this is, IS THE PROBLEM. You can’t sing about “love who you love” and then bring out the “don’t say gay” captain in a election vest throwing out campaign items to the crowd, and pretend it isn’t a political statement. Wake up.

Anti-semitism in any form is deplorable. In person. Online. Doesn't matter where. It's hate and it's unacceptable.
