How I'm going to make a REMOTE desktop for my homelab:
1. Make wireguard server in the cloud (link below to guide)
2. Install linux server on homelab
3. Install nomachine
4. Install nomachine client on PC

@KevinNaughtonJr For most web apps it would be Next.js + React + Tailwind + Postgres + S3. If I needed to do serious work on the back-end I would use a combination of Rust and Redis.
I've built too many back-ends in TS to continue with the mistyped bugs and excessive server costs at scale.

@matthiasendler Agreed. Even with just a year of professional Go experience, I prototype just as fast in Rust and have quite a bit more fun. I'm still much quicker in Node, but that speed comes with a heavy cost when it comes to preventing bugs and especially scaling.

@zack_overflow I used to use bun for building multi-tenant applications, but I unfortunately had to switch to pnpm as it had better support with libraries I used. Absolutely loved it for the speed and ease of linking though.
