@torreydawley I love depth. This is it: alignment between who we are, where we are heading, and why. I'd only add the importance of having the right people by your side. It makes the journey more memorable and enjoyable.

There's no bullshitting God. Or the Universe or The Spectacular Unicorn of The Sky or whatever. It knows your heart and it keeps score. Until you believe in yourself, no one else will truly believe in you. Until you're working your ass off to the point of exhaustion, you will not achieve your aims. Until you actually do care about the people you proclaim to care about, no one will be attracted to you and your abilities. I can't emphasize this enough: Successful people align their Soul to endless depths of meaning they derive from their actions. I don't care if that's a small business owner generating millions in revenue from serving their clients as if they were family or a stay-at-home mom working her ass off to provide for her own family. They accept all that aligns with their aims and reject all that does not. And you won't find a single one of them foolish enough to believe they can trick God. I believe that anyone who wants to get the most out of their gift of life must think often about the sacrifice demanded to attain true success. The kind of success that leaves you thinking, "That was one hell of a ride, and I'm grateful for getting the most out of it" when you lie on your deathbed. I recommend that you think today—and every day—about what it really means to fight for your fullest expression of your true purpose. Work every day to develop and maintain your Spiritual alignment with your actions. You'll find that what was once difficult feels easier. That what was once confusing is now clear. That strangers become partners in your endeavors. You'll begin to experience what it feels like to have God on your side. And if you are working hard and fighting to align your Soul to your actions, then keep going. Dig deeper each day as a matter of principle. Feel what it's like to allow your Spirit to open the doors ahead of you. Rejoice in the opportunity to play a part in this eternal equation that's always provided the same beneficial result for everyone who was willing to work on solving it. Most importantly: Be brave. Legitimately brave. It's only a matter of time.

Big thanks to @allicovington for keeping me in check the last 6 weeks. I'm sitting here at 1ppm working on our largest proposal to date for RevX. Well into the 6 figures. I hired Alli in January because I knew RevXcel would be ramping up and I wanted to make sure that with everything going on I wasn't going to lose track of my diet and competitive goals. She's on my ass every morning and night just checking in giving me those reminders and helping me oscillate my diet based on how I feel + train that day. Invest in what is important to you!

Watching him stand there….remembering it wasn’t so long ago that his therapist goal was for him to stand for 4 seconds before falling….then 10 seconds. Here he is, just…standing there watching tv like it’s nothing. Like it wasn’t YEARS of work to get his balance to the point where we could turn our backs and he wouldn’t just fall…. He only started taking his first steps about 18 months ago. Now he goes up and down stairs independently. The thing about long term goals worth achieving is that on a daily basis you see no improvement because it’s so incremental, but when you measure it over time it looks like leaps. These leaps keep me going and hopeful that he can be fully independent one day. Truthfully, some days my heart aches at his delays, like speaking or toileting. Other days I look at how far we’ve come and I’m grateful for the thousands of hours of work we’ve put in that are paying off. I think business and fitness are like that….when measured on a long enough timeline, everything good is inevitable when you don’t stop short. Be like Xander….keep going. Forever. ❤️

This morning, my son learned he's got a full ride scholarship for college, so that saves us some money! Phew!!! What a relief.

😩Had a big “OH NO...” moment yesterday. New client I’d courted for months texts: “We need to talk. Are you free next Tuesday?" I said yes. Then she said, “Actually, what about tomorrow at 8AM?” Uh, okay. My first thought was, “Crap! What’d I do wrong?” I was sure I missed a problem with the contract/invoice. This morning I called with butterflies in my stomach, and she says, “At yesterday’s leadership team meeting, we talked about storytelling and I recommended you to present on content and storytelling for our whole company. All the execs are on board. Can you help us? Does this fit into our contract?” 😅 It was such a “PHEW!” moment for me! Of course I agreed and now I gotta draft up that presentation!
