People trying to buy low pop, low listing supply Pokemon cards for old prices. They're so used to modern cards being so readily available that its weird to pay more than last "comps" Honestly, think vintage can explode really hard once people realize that some cards you have to get whenever you see a listing at a not so crazy price or you may not see it again once it ends up in someone's forever personal collection

for good returns. All in all it’s been wild watching this all unfold as a lifetime collector. I love seeing people win and cash out on cards or pick up grails they’ve been after for decades. Just don’t forget - you might think this will last forever but it won’t 😅

getting reprinted like all of these modern sets. The hit rates on some were atrocious. And as kids we did not keep these in good condition so there is always gonna be less of them. For modern - sealed is the way to go imo. If you’re looking to “invest” that’s the best route

PSA is running the biggest psyops of all time. Given the new Pokemon boom, was gonna submit some childhood Pokémon cards I found to get graded this week. You're telling me its $33 per card and I have to wait 75 days??? But that's not all, if the card is worth more I have to pay more???????? HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO GRADE A SINGLE CARD. I CAN'T IMAGINE THE HARD PLASTIC THEY'RE PUT IN IS THAT EXPENSIVE.

@FlockMastaMon “Investors” are now the over whelming majority in pokemon card collecting. They will be where the majority of the liquidity is. It will correct and I still think think low pop vintage is the best mid term play.

Somehow these are the same price… one is a decade old and features Vaporeon alongside Gyarados Where did this surge for 151 come from? 151 SIR was selling for $70 less than a month ago and one just sold for $399 today.
