@PatternProfits started tracking below over the past few weeks. p/l flat. often i had the right bias, but execution was bad. excactly like the day today... for me it becomes more and more obvious that the setup/bias matters a lot less than perfect risk management and sizing.

@PatternProfits hey Ben, difficult trading day. the „how“ it gets there is often the tricky part…

I had it all mapped out. Strong probabilities for upside in my favor. 💪 Had all my levels marked. Saw price run & tag those levels. 🎯 Yet, I'll close the day red. 🔴 This 💩 happens... that's trading! Head up. We get back on the horse & ride again next week! 🐎 HAGW all!

@DailyEdgeFx @Peregrinefx1 used to trade otc..spreads can go very wide. ccy futures offer rather steady spreads, but 0.5 pips „minimum“ spread is already too much when scalping for 10 pips..in/out total 1pip spread, plus eventual slippage, plus commission…

Is it only me that hate commission on currency pairs so much that lead to stop trading them? Am not going to be trading Currencies oooo the commissions to much to be real, you can forget for once and it lead to not passing an account by just $5 or less.

Every so often, I think it's a good reminder to point out that $ES minds the lines & has far less fakeouts & shakeouts vs $NQ. To this day, I often use $ES to help guide my $NQ trades. I also recommend new futures traders learn to trade $ES before $NQ. tradingview.com/x/xL9eZhwT/

@PatternProfits just not worth going for them in terms of RR...tricky to get into the trade those days. lot of chop. and i think sector rotations distorting things as well

$ES $NQ IB closes in the lower half with the highs printing 1st. 🔴 IB lows the low hanging fruit.

@DailyEdgeFx hello, can I ask you something. when you have a clean "normal" distribution, VAH and VAL matter for sure. when you have a messy distribution, do you still look at VAH, VAL? thanks in advance. just spotted your content recently. very valuable

@DailyEdgeFx was fading EURUSD here. squared since sticky up here. and biased bearish DAX. but some aggressive selling happening here. hence a squeeze first could not be excluded

@dom1984 @IBconfluenced I was looking for news but don't see anything. Wild! Can use that low to manage risk though until the 1st FVG prints. 👀

@PatternProfits does the breadth work that short term? or do you look at it rather as background colour? for me rather big pic confluence

@IBconfluenced NYSE breadth trying to go red to green. $VIX gap up but fading since. For every - there's a +. Typical for a Monday morning.

@PatternProfits good morning Sir, ALN suggested London Low more likely...headlines messed it up. very mixed signals across the board. apart from YM which looks rather tilted to the downside...

@IBconfluenced 56% on $NQ and 64% on $ES. Big difference, so it's never a target for me. I tend to draw the line around 70%.

$ES $NQ 50% gap fills are so high probability that price showing no interest in getting there off the open can often be a sign of underlying strength/weakness.

@PatternProfits when do you decide to go for the full gap fill? and when rather for the 50%? and when do you decide if the gap fill or 50% fill is called off? you see the issue….

$NQ $ES Eyes on those 50% gap fills which are always high probability on a gap down... along with $NQ 15min ORB, as usual. Confluence there. 👀
