We are planning a split‑cour release across the entire run of episodes. The next cour (2nd STAGE) will begin streaming in fall 2026 on Netflix, with one new episode released each week. This release schedule is part of our original plan and reflects the wishes of the production committee.

@ratiowontmis @AnimexTwts Jjk’s last episode that aired adapted like 8 or 9 chapters. The 48 min Sbr special adapted 11 to put this into perspective. It’s still gonna be rough unless they can meaningfully increase fights. Even then if oda draws a long fight it will be noticeable

we get weekly episodes every stage, and once were done with like stage 2, the next stage wont FEEL like it took as long to release cause we'll have a good few weeks of episodes to keep us busy.

@sirgoofy28 @NetflixAnime @streamblondd There’s 95ish if I recall, but most are closer to 30 pages not 20 since it was released monthly. From what I recall seeing (I have not read any other parts aside from SBR which I picked up after Netflix did all this) SBR is much longer than previous parts

@sirgoofy28 @NetflixAnime @streamblondd 1 was stage one in its entirety. Stage 1 was only 11 chapters. I read it and they trimmed out some fat from the race but you see everything super important except one backstory I’m sure we will see later and something that I believe is intentionally left out as a story decision

@StillHazoDDD Ethan is cool as a stand in for the player. Although he has no actual character and his dialogue in 8 was abysmal. I always hate this moral grandstanding of “he actually had a character arc” dawg he’s barely a character. All they did was give him the Bethesda fallout motivation

Sorry but awfully superficial take.
Leaving aside the fact that Ethan revived a dying franchise, he might be the only protagonist EVER in RE who had a starting and ending character arc.
He was shown, his story was told, he did what he did, and he left. It's a beautiful thing in a franchise where no one ever retires because they are always meant to the sell the next game.
You can love or hate his story, that's subjective (I loved it), but to call him forgettable makes it look like you're only after cool one-liners and repetitive plots.

With our 9.4.0 release, we added a number of new voice actors and voice lines to some of your favorite characters. This includes a full suite of new VO for Steve Harrington. In addition to this update, the team wanted to maintain an easter egg of our community’s beloved Steagull/Stevegull scream. You may have seen videos like this one (youtube.com/watch?v=wM_nLa…) that some players have been able to find it in the wild. We recognize that the chance of this easter egg being triggered was too low, giving the impression that the scream was missing entirely. In our bugfix patch coming next week, we will be greatly increasing the frequency of it occurring.
