A dark day in #Myanmar as security forces escalate use of force against peaceful protesters, reportedly killing at least 6 people. This pattern of excessive, lethal force strongly suggests systematic central command and control and must be investigated as crimes against humanity.

A relatively strong condemnation of #Myanmar military coup by #UN Security Council didn't rein in #Tatmadaw's improper use of lethal force at all. UNSC must now to refer full Myanmar situation to International Criminal Court to investigate possible crimes against humanity.
