If children get free breakfast and lunch - why do we need to remove the 2 child cap Surely if they have just got a £6000 benefits boost, they can afford to make their kids a packed lunch

The BBC has covered the Jennifer Melle story. But it failed to mention that the man the nurse 'misgendered' was a convicted paedophile who was being transferred from a high-security men's prison, or that he tried to headbutt her (while repeatedly calling her the N-word)

@MichaelRosenYes Also you can’t renew your British passport if it has more than one year left before expiry without jumping through considerable hoops. Some passports are or were issued with almost 11 years expiry meaning you can’t renew them or travel with them to countries with the 10yr rule.

Ha! I’ve just been refused entry onto a plane from Stansted to Bologna because my passport issue date is March 2016. The expiry date is August 2026 but the rule is 10 years from issue date. Another Brexit benefit. Apparently. Go home now.

How do we convince women that transwomen are not a threat in their single sex spaces? By threatening them with death every time we meet. Trans logic 101

Anyone getting benefits totalling over £12.5k per year in value should have to pay tax. If the pensioners have to, and minimum wage workers have to then so should they. There shouldn’t be a two tier system between those who work or have worked and those who have not

📣🚨Karen Webb, an NHS specialist nurse with 42 years’ experience working with older people, faced losing her honorary Queen’s Nurse title after being reported for gender-critical posts on X. The situation began during what should have been a standard team meeting. In the informal chat before proceedings began, Karen, in response to another colleague, expressed support for the Olympic Committee’s decision to exclude male athletes from women’s sporting categories. Within minutes, she received a private message from the Trust’s Head of Equality and Inclusion, informing her that she had “upset a lot of people”. The following day, she was told that her “attitude” towards transgender individuals needed to be discussed. Three months later, Karen was called to a formal meeting with senior figures at Cambridgeshire and Peterborough NHS Foundation Trust, where she was questioned about her views on trans people and her ability to provide them with compassionate care. Believing the matter to have been resolved, Karen was then contacted by the Queen’s Institute of Community Nursing (QICN), which informed her that it had received a complaint about alleged “transphobia” and “bigotry”. She was instructed to delete her social media posts or risk losing her honorary title. The experience caused her significant and understandable distress. At that point, Karen turned to the Free Speech Union for support. The FSU wrote to QICN on her behalf, setting out her legally protected right to hold and express gender-critical beliefs under the Equality Act 2010. Shortly thereafter, QICN dropped its investigation and issued a full apology, acknowledging that there was “no case to answer” and that Karen had “done nothing wrong”. Following a Subject Access Request (SAR), it emerged that the complaint had been made by a senior activist colleague, who had also disclosed information from a confidential internal process – despite that matter having been closed without any disciplinary action. This disclosure appeared to be a malicious attempt to damage Karen’s professional reputation and facilitate the removal of her honorary title. A subsequent grievance investigation by the NHS Trust upheld Karen’s complaint, finding that confidential information had been improperly shared with QICN. The Trust accepted that Karen had a reasonable expectation that discussions within the internal process would remain private, and confirmed that this expectation had been breached. The Trust has since stated that “appropriate action will be taken” to ensure lessons are learned and similar incidents do not occur again. Although the Free Speech Union was ultimately able to protect Karen’s title and prevent disciplinary action, the experience has left a lasting impact. Now retired, she reflects that the episode has cast a shadow over what should have been the culmination of a long and dedicated career in nursing. This sad episode resulted in Karen deciding it was time to retire. We are proud to have supported Karen during this difficult time. Cases like hers are far from isolated – more than 40 per cent of the Free Speech Union’s casework now involves individuals facing repercussions for expressing gender-critical beliefs, which are protected under the Equality Act 2010. Watch Karen share her story and join the Free Speech Union below 👇

X Freeze
X Freeze@XFreeze·
The left has officially abandoned reality 🤡 If a father took his child to a doctor to surgically remove an eye so the child could “identify” with him, he would be arrested for even considering it. Yet, when it comes to permanent, life-altering "gender-affirming" surgeries and hormones for minors, the left calls it “healthcare,” which is not proven to benefit them in any way It’s time to stop the madness. We are talking about the permanent disfigurement of children who don't really understand what's happening to them, based on zero conclusive long-term evidence. Instead, some deranged adults convince them through indoctrination. We need to press pause, protect kids, and return to common sense before more lives are irreversibly damaged Enough is enough

@ICanSurviveThis @nowak_paul @Kevin_Maguire It's only £123 a week maximum. Most people will still come to work sick, but, luckily for you, those who could spread their germs have a small safety net. £24 a day...surely worth keeping illness away?

Steph Richards: (She/her) - Say NO to hate.
TransLucent Resignation Statement: Seeking to take the Labour Party to court. Some 6+ years ago, I started a personal blog, which led to a group of campaigners, which in turn led to an organisation we now know as TransLucent. It’s been an amazing journey for me as a founder and CEO. Still, in life, things change, and chapters end. In December 2025, the Labour Party discriminated against me by barring me from a space where I was once welcome - the National Women’s Conference. The Party claims that this is due to the Supreme Court judgment (FWS v SGM). I believe the Labour Party has been badly misinformed by their lawyers and could have chosen to remain trans inclusive. A court, perhaps ultimately in Strasbourg, will need to decide. I know this may be a marathon journey, but it is inconceivable that when the Gender Recognition Act was drafted, exemptions, which included single-sex spaces and female sport, would also mean a trans woman could not attend a conference. For nearly a year, the Labour government has witnessed the chaos the Supreme Court judgment has caused: likely suicides, certainly suicide attempts, trans people outed at work, trans women and girls expelled from Girlguiding, and volunteers quitting in protest. The Women’s Institute has excluded trans women who had been members for decades, resulting in multiple branches closing, leaving many elderly s!s women without the companionship they cherished. This is madness, and the Labour government could and should have intervened - neither Girlguiding nor the WI wanted to exclude - this gender-critical “lawfare” has to be stopped. I never imagined that I would be the one embarking on this epic journey to help overturn the FWS judgment, and I know the right-wing media will target me relentlessly with lies and misinformation - something I have faced several times before. As I begin my legal case, it is clear that I can no longer remain the public face of TransLucent, which is not involved in my personal dispute. I have served the Labour Party loyally in various Women’s positions in the past. As a post op trans woman with a Gender Recognition Certificate and as an award-winning feminist, I am truly disgusted, but while I feel desperately let down, it is my intention to remain an active member of my CLP. I am pleased to confirm that Prof. Stephen Whittle OBE (who co-founded Press for Change) and Dr Debora Diamond, both eminently qualified, will take my place at TransLucent. I know they will do a superb job. My immediate resignation will not affect the tireless advocacy work the organisation has undertaken -TransLucent will continue to fight for the dignity, respect, human rights and healthcare that trans people so richly deserve. I have had months to prepare for this, as my dispute with the Labour Party has been ongoing since December. Although I am leaving my position at TransLucent, I will continue being involved in the cause of human rights and intersectional feminism. Finally, please support my Crowdjustice Campaign to help fund my legal case against the Labour Party. Initially, I need £25k, followed by a further £45k as soon as possible. All donations go directly to my solicitor - should you prefer by using the slider, you dont need to leave a tip to Crowdjustice. Please donate and share this post. Thank you. crowdjustice.com/case/justice-f…

Michael "Lauren" Jeska Jeska terrorized the women's fell running scene in the UK for years, taking 3 consecutive English Fell running championship titles along with a Welsh (WFRA) title. When officials questioned Jeska's eligibility, declaring his results void as he failed to comply with the rules, he took two knives to the UK Athletics office and proceeded to stab Ralph Knibbs, head of human resources, in the head and neck in an attack eyewitnesses describe "as though [he] were trying to skewer meat." He also injured the two men who tried to intervene. Knibbs suffered a stroke in the attack and was subsequently disabled. Jeska continues to serve his sentence for attempted murder. He still holds women's parkrun records and is being held in a women's prison.
