We have won bids for schemes through DEFRA to add resilience to our networks. Our Operational and Meica teams have been able to deliver these schemes within the consortium along with our contractors in a very tight window. The hard work from all members is greatly appreciated.

Last winter over 600 pumping stations operated by #InternalDrainageBoards worked flat out during the wettest winter on record. In Lincolnshire alone they pumped in excess of the 1.3 billion cubic metres of water. That's 10 Rutland Waters! #BackBritishFarming 🌾

Nice day for it. And good to see. Can we add our thanks to @HumbersideFire for hosting our Asset Management team on your water safety course at Hessle. Helping our professionals manage their own safety while they work to manage flood risk in our community. 🛟 🏊

Interesting views on revising the NPPF In respect of economic damage, life & health, it will be interesting to see if specific planning policies to ensure appropriate FLOOD RISK MANAGEMENT are strengthened & prioritised over other important, but less critical planning polices.
