We have won bids for schemes through DEFRA to add resilience to our networks. Our Operational and Meica teams have been able to deliver these schemes within the consortium along with our contractors in a very tight window. The hard work from all members is greatly appreciated.

The new Floods Resilience Taskforce met for the first time today to turbocharge flood resilience and the building of flood defences.

Through the @DefraSoils Lowland Agricultural Peat Small Infrastructure Pilots (LAPSIP) #InternalDrainageBoards are installing new water management infrastructure to retain water safely in our lowlands conserving our peat soils for the future. #BackBritishFarming 🌾

Last winter over 600 pumping stations operated by #InternalDrainageBoards worked flat out during the wettest winter on record. In Lincolnshire alone they pumped in excess of the 1.3 billion cubic metres of water. That's 10 Rutland Waters! #BackBritishFarming 🌾
