The labor and delivery process as well as the medical care leading up to should 100% be all about mom and baby and their needs. Any man who does the stuff listed in the video is extremely immature. Having said that, OB offices and L&D staff are very hostile towards men. I’m there to support my wife, I help whenever needed and just generally support my wife but every OB office nurse and L&D nurse we’ve ever had has treated me with open disdain. I know other husbands feel the same. All these extremely sassy and judgement nurses need an attitude check. When my wife comes with me to my specialist appointments the staff treats her with respect even though I’m the patient and we are there for my needs. Why can’t it be the same with OB and L&D nurses?
