Just saw this post on Reddit and it honestly blew my mind. - A guy with very little coding experience built a full working app in 4 hours using ChatGPT Codex. - He runs his home network on pfSense. Each kid has their own VLAN, bedtime internet schedules, and custom rules. But during holidays or grounding situations, he had to manually log into the firewall and toggle everything. So he asked AI to build him an app to streamline it. - ChatGPT Codex wrote the full code, configured the backend API (tokens, certificates, permissions), helped with Cloudflare domain setup, built the UI, fixed errors, and even ran QC checks before deployment. All from simple instructions. - Now I understand why people are talking about AI changing jobs. It’s not about replacing developers it’s about multiplying output. Builders with AI are operating at a completely different speed. (Sharing this from Reddit because this is exactly where things are heading.)
