@CountDankulaTV Have you read William Gibson’s script for Alien 3 / the novelization treatment that was done based on it? I’d be curious to hear your thoughts on it.

The Aliens graphic novels of Outbreak, Nightmare and Earth War do a completely different and far superior story. They all make it back to earth, Hicks gets "honourably" discharged, Ripley goes back to work (under extreme company surveillance) and Newt gets placed with a "Foster family". Hicks finds out Newt is actually in a company controlled asylum and goes in shooting to break her out. He then meets up with Ripley later they all discover that the company found a way to get the Xenomorph back on Earth. Everything of course goes completely wrong and they have to fight their way off Earth. It's genuinely so fucking good and what Alien 3 should have been. Instead we got "yeah see those people you spent the entire last movie saving? Literally what the whole movie was about? they ded lmao" Rendering the entirety of Aliens pointless. It was such a fucking stupid decision and why 3 is seen as the weakest of all the films.
