Coral Gables (FL) 27’ ATH Tikum Brian Asongwe (@TikumBrian) At 5-foot-9, Asongwe plays like a honey badger — physical, explosive, and fearless. He can deliver big hits and make plays in space. The track and field standout recently picked up his first Division I offer from Eastern Kentucky University.

Coral Gables (FL) 27’ ATH Tikum Brian Asongwe (@TikumBrian) Asongwe may not wow with measurables, but he’s simply a football player. At 5-foot-9, 170 pounds with a reported 4.6 40-yard dash per UCReport, the tape shows an all-purpose playmaker scoring long touchdowns, forcing fumbles, chasing plays down defensively, and blocking punts on special teams. Productive in all three phases. Asongwe will also be an early enrollee.

My first highlighted game of Day 2 at the UAA Session II was more than worth the early one-hour drive. The anticipated showdown between @StarsNash_MBB 15U and defending champs Team Thrill delivered a battle from start to finish with momentum swings, gritty defense, and big-time plays when it mattered most. The opening quarter was a defensive slugfest with both squads trying to settle in and find a rhythm offensively. Every bucket felt earned, and the Stars held onto a razor-thin 7- 6 lead after one. But in the second quarter, Team Thrill began heating up offensively. Their pace picked up, shots started falling, and they slowly grabbed control of the momentum to carry a 28- 23 lead into halftime. Coming out of the half, the Stars started finding their rhythm. The energy shifted, the ball movement became sharper, and confidence started building possession after possession. They battled their way back and flipped the game around, taking a 34 to 33 lead heading into the fourth quarter and setting the stage for a heavyweight finish. And in the final quarter, the Stars completely turned up the pressure. Their execution down the stretch was beautiful to watch—crisp passing. Strong cuts. Big time finishes. Every possession looked more connected than the last, and Team Thrill simply could not slow the momentum. The Stars stayed poised in the biggest moments and closed out an impressive 55-50 statement win over the defending champs. The Stars were led by #23 @ArdenLewis29, who put together a huge performance with 24 points, 4 rebounds, 1 steal, and 1 assist. Arden was aggressive all game long and continuously delivered when the offense needed a bucket. Teammate @d1_francisn brought toughness and activity inside, finishing with 7 points, 10 rebounds, 1 block, and 1 steal while making his presence felt all over the floor. Team Thrill was led by #7 @henry_Branch11, who battled hard and finished with 12 points and 2 rebounds in the tough-fought matchup.
