Today, I presented the first installment of a $1.5M grant to @ihccbusiness, investing in the continued growth of small businesses across Illinois.

Lindsey is a community organizer, operational leader, & advocate who played a central role in the reorganization and revitalization of Normal NOW, helping guide the chapter through a period of strategic realignment, renewed mission clarity, & deeper community connection.

It is an honor to be recognized as Person of the Year by the IL Asphalt Pavement Association. Thank you for this recognition of my efforts, and the efforts of the employees at the Comptroller’s office, over the last 9 years providing public service & prompt payments.

It was great joining @wcpt820’s Joan Esposito to discuss how my Prevailing Wage Executive Order has been a success in Illinois—and is now being replicated across the country to help ensure working men and women are paid a fair, livable wage.

Chanel is a firefighter, Marine Corps veteran, & proud servant to her community. She made history as the 1st African American female firefighter in her department, a milestone that reflects both her determination & her willingness to open doors for those who will come after her.

I had the honor of recognizing an incredible group of women in Springfield whose leadership, determination, and commitment are making a real difference in our communities. Their achievements speak volumes, and the positive impact they continue to create is truly inspiring.

We put out a weekly transparency report each Wednesday on social media, and the Illinois Office of Comptroller's website has information about everything from the state's Rainy Day Fund to how quickly we are paying the state's bills.

I enjoyed speaking with @FarmWeekNow's Jim Taylor about my efforts over the years to increase transparency regarding government finances.

Our thoughts are with the residents of the Kankakee County area & other communities affected by yesterday’s high winds, tornadoes & hail. As damage is assessed, it’s a good time for all of us to prepare for severe weather, create an emergency plan & sign up for weather alerts.

I had an awesome tour of BUILD on Chicago’s West Side, where mentors and community leaders are dedicated to helping youth overcome cycles of violence and trauma. It was great to see their facility and learn more about the support they provide to youth and families.
