Happy birthday to my mentor, Mrs Susan Muhwezi. @SusanMuhwezi She gave me my first opportunity to work issues of development (Trade, Investment, Economic growth) as a young economist in her office. Gave me the space to learn, make mistakes and grow, and through it all, protected me as a young professional. I learnt so much from her on how to be a Leader, and never to be afraid to let young people take initiative. Forever grateful for her guidance and mentorship so early in my career.

In Bukomero, under the Uganda Electricity Distribution Company Limited @UEDCLTD , I officially launched the new Electricity Access Scale-Up Project (EASP) and the Electricity Connections Policy (ECP). The World Bank–funded EASP aims to add 900,000 new customers to the national grid, while enhancing the reliability and affordability of electricity supply.

@SundayR81403392 @UEDCLSpox @ERA_Uganda @MEMD_Uganda @GovUganda @MKarekye @edgaragaba1 Please be informed that Hydromax has officially handed over the distribution operations to the Uganda Electricity Distribution Company Limited (UEDCL). This means Hydromax will no longer be responsible for power distribution in the affected areas. /NJ

Relief is on the way for Adjumani and Moyo! Kampala: UEDCL hosted a delegation from Adjumani District, led by His Lordship Lawrence Mangapi, as we shared updates on ongoing efforts to providing reliable power supply to the Madi-region. “As a short-term measure, supply has been augmented with an alternative from Yumbe via Moyo ” said @UEDCLMD Paul Mwesigwa, highlighting works between Olwiyo and Nebbi substations, and a 20MW solar plant in Madi-Okollo. A permanent solution is expected once UETCL completes a new substation in Adjumani. #UEDCLinService #LightingUpYourWorld
