Writing code is becoming extinct. Let's face it: Software Engineering is moving towards the orchestration of multiple agents running in parallel. I'm now spending 80% of my time reviewing code and only 20% writing it, and even this split might be outdated soon. Tools are moving in this direction as well.

The older I get, the more I realize intelligence is overrated. Intelligent people are more likely to overthink, overplan, and overanalyze. They hide behind motion that doesn't create progress. They fear the judgment of others if they're proven wrong. The truth is that intelligence is abundant. Courage is not. The people you admire are the ones who had the courage to act. They aren’t more talented than you. They aren’t smarter than you. They just took action when you didn’t. I often wonder how many extraordinary people wasted their entire lives waiting for permission that never came. Permission isn't granted. It's taken. You get to tap yourself in whenever you want. You can just do things. Courage beats intelligence.

Sometimes supply can create demand. Now that the stadium is in place, it will be the catalyst that drives investment in the accommodation and other required services/amenities. Look at what the UN base in Entebbe did. Of course we have to think beyond AFCON to ensure sustainable demand.

For Hoima stadium to host AFCON, CAF requires Hoima to have ‘a minimum of five 5-star hotels, each offering at least 50 rooms and meeting all required operational standards and amenities,’ and Hoima Airport ready enough ‘to support international arrivals and tournament-related logistics.’ 👀.

My heart is aching. I am trembling. Yesterday, my gut kept telling me to check on her but the workload overwhelmed me. Now she is gone!. Its with a heavy heart that i make this post. Our beloved Esteri Tebandeke has passed on. She has been in hospital for a while following her kidney condition fight. In 2022, Esteri underwent a kidney transplant procedure after her husband, Samuel Lutaata Tebandeke donated his kidney to her. Everything was ok until Esther's body started rejecting the new kidney. Just a few days ago, i shared the call for assistance which the family needed due to the high hospital bills. Esteri was severely unwell and on oxygen in the High Dependency Unit of Nakasero with a daily bill of 4m. We kept positive and believed for a miracle but unfortunately, this morning we have received the bad news. ESTERI HAS GONE TO BE WITH THE LORD. Last year, she introduced Binti Film Festival which had a very successful first edition and she had bigger plans for this year's edition. She has performed on stage (dancer & actor) and film in different projects like Queen of Katwe, Imperial Blue, Cooking Oil etc Born in 1984, Esteri has lived a very artistic life and i am glad we crossed paths. Rest Well Esteri. To Samuel, her husband, thank you for standing and may the almighty comfort you. Details about celebrating Esteri's life will be shared soon
