Unfortunately (and I don’t like the Iran thing) it’s like buying a house and having to rip out bad plumbing and water damage after it’s been neglected- you break up the floor, the drywall, it’s messy and takes too long. Then it’s fixed with new pipes, you get your floor guy and drywall guy in and then you’re like hmm I actually have a new bathroom that works! You don’t always get to fix things in the order you want. ☹️

Trump should remember that a lot of his appeal was giving Americans a sense that he really cared about their day to day concerns. Immigration overrunning communities, cost of living, jobs/outsourcing. Foreign adventures make a splash but don’t help on the home front at all.

On this St. Patrick's Day, let's remember a simpler time, when we brought knives in our outdoor showers and cut open a bar of Irish Spring soap. I 100% did this. Not in the shower though. 😂

My mom was 100% Italian, and when she married my Irish dad (which was a bit of a scandal, back in the day), she always made it a point to make St. Patrick's Day a special one. I always have a smile on my face when this day comes every year. Not just because of my heritage, but the thought of my Calabrese-Napoletano mother spending the day making corned beef and cabbage, soda bread, and other Irish treats for him and for us. Happy St. Patrick's Day to all who celebrate!

Sunday we found ourselves in Adamsville for what might be the most charming thing in all of New England, the “World’s Shortest St. Paddy’s Day Parade.” Eighty-nine feet long. That’s it. But somehow it draws a crowd bigger than the town itself. Bagpipers, ponies, potatoes, a man dressed as a fish, and even St. Patrick himself made an appearance. We went with our friend Matt Light and his family and watched as he marched in the parade. One of those days you wish you could bottle up forever. Kids on shoulders, everyone in green, strangers laughing like old friends. The whole weekend had that same magic. Irish step dancers, music echoing through old halls, and probably one too many Guinnesses along the way. It started as a joke, but now it’s a tradition. Honestly might be our favorite parade we’ve ever been to. Somehow the shortest parade ends up making the biggest memories ☘️
