It’s important to understand where a player’s drive, dedication, and passion begin—for me, it starts at home. My brother graduated from AIT today at Fort Eustis and will deploy to Germany next week. My dad, an Army veteran, had the honor of pinning his wings on his uniform. These two men inspire me daily. Accepted an opportunity to guest pitch with a team and knock some rust off. I didn’t get to pitch much, but my offense was 🔥 I went 3 for 3 at the plate with 2 line drive singles, 1 double, and 5 RBIs. I am so excited to get back in the dirt with my girls!!! @IMGCoyle #classof2030

Yesterday had another good lesson with @FeelGoodHitting Good mechanics let you cover more pitches, stick the finish, focus on location of pitches, hit the ball in the middle, hitting the ball up the middle keeps me right, 1 rep at a time, the zone is my happy place, pinball, remind your eyes, use your process, you are mindset, self talk, coil the legs, see the ball, breath, bat pumps, flow, don't jump to the pitch, sit back and let it travel, I don't get cheated, hit through the ball. I went to IU Team Camp on Saturday and it was a fun experience getting to go to a team camp. They had alot of stations so you could get some good quality reps in for fielding and hitting while you were not playing the game. I took about 6 weeks off of softball to rest and heal, but there wasn’t much resting because I play indoor soccer and basketball during the winter. But I’m back in the batting cage now, investing in myself for my team. @IMGCoyle
