My favourite type of startup CEO is the type that deeply wants to be a psychopath but just fully fails at it, i worked at one of these companies a few months ago and it was the most dysfunctional things I’ve ever seen. The CEO refused to spend any money, forgot to set up the savings account for the startup bank account, so they were losing out on $200k~ a year in interest just from that. I was there for a 4 week work trial and at the end of the trial I was offered $40 an hour for 20 hours a week. I said no and walked. Moral of the story, if the company seems dysfunctional, leave while you still can, do something that’s morally good instead of trying to get money out of someone who fails to be a psychopath.
