High level discussion- 🌊 AR is a heterogenous disease - sex matters, age matters ( bimodal distribution- better survival in Bicuspid / dilated LV) 🌊 echo Algorithm - too many criteria- variability ( measure VC width, LVvolume) 🌊 RF and RV cutoff of severe AR by #whyCMR different and Lower than #Echofirst ( ESC guidelines ~40% but should it be lower? ~35%?) 🌊 LV Volumes more important LV dimensions ( volume cut off ~ 45 ml/m2) 🌊 use of #WHYCMR must in regurgitation lesions
