सुबह होते ही हमारे किसान भाई-बहन बिना मौसम की परवाह किए खेती-बाड़ी में जुट जाते हैं। उनकी यही मेहनत हमारे प्रदेश की प्रगति का आधार है। प्राकृतिक खेती को MSP के दायरे में लाकर हमने सुनिश्चित किया है कि किसानों को उनकी उपज का बेहतर और निश्चित मूल्य मिले। इस बजट में हमने गेहूँ का समर्थन मूल्य 80 रुपये, मक्की का 50 रुपये, पांगी घाटी के जौ का 80 रुपये और कच्ची हल्दी का 150 रुपये निर्धारित करने का निर्णय लिया है। साथ ही, पहली बार अदरक को भी MSP के दायरे में शामिल करते हुए 30 रुपये प्रति किलोग्राम का समर्थन मूल्य तय किया है। हमारा प्रयास है कि किसानों की आय में वृद्धि हो, उनके हाथ में सीधे पैसा पहुंचे और ग्रामीण अर्थव्यवस्था और अधिक मजबूत बने।

The Indian National Congress (INC) unequivocally condemns the targeted assassination of Iran's Supreme Leader, Ali Hosseini Khamenei, in a military strike carried out without a formal declaration of war. The INC extends its deepest condolences to the Supreme Leader's family, to the people of Iran, and the Shia community around the world in this moment of profound grief. We stand in solidarity with them as they navigate this grave crisis. India's foreign policy is anchored in a commitment to the peaceful settlement of disputes through dialogue and respect for international law, as mandated in Article 51 of the Constitution of India. These principles-sovereign equality, non- intervention and the promotion of peace are foundational to India's civilisational values. Given this, the conflict in West Asia is deeply antithetical to our commitment to Vasudhaiva Kutumbaka ("the world is one family"), Mahatma Gandhi's doctrine of ahimsa (non-violence), Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru's policy of non-alignment. The targeted use of force to destabilise the leadership and governing structures of a sovereign state whether in Iran or earlier in Venezuela-signals a disturbing revival of regime-change doctrines and coercive unilateralism. It also contravenes the United Nations Charter-especially Article 2(4), which expressly prohibits "the threat or use of force against the territorial integrity or political independence of any state," and Article 2(7), which forbids intervention in matters essentially within the domestic jurisdiction of any state. A targeted killing of a sitting head of state strikes at the heart of these international rules. Sovereignty is not conditional, and political legitimacy cannot be manufactured through force. The INC reiterates that it is the inalienable right of every nation's citizens to determine their own political future. No external power has the authority to engineer regime change or dictate the leadership of another state. Such actions amount to imperialism and are fundamentally incompatible with a genuinely rules- based international order.

आज नई दिल्ली में केंद्रीय वित्त मंत्री निर्मला सीतारमन जी से शिष्टाचार भेंट कर हिमाचल प्रदेश के लिए वर्ष 2026–27 हेतु विशेष केंद्रीय सहायता का आग्रह किया। उन्हें यह स्पष्ट रूप से अवगत कराया कि राजस्व घाटा अनुदान (RDG) की समाप्ति हिमाचल जैसे छोटे एवं पर्वतीय राज्य के लिए एक गंभीर वित्तीय चुनौती बनकर उभरी है। कठिन भौगोलिक परिस्थितियाँ, सीमित संसाधन और विकास की विशेष आवश्यकताओं को देखते हुए सभी राज्यों को एक ही पैमाने पर आंकना न्यायसंगत नहीं है। इसलिए RDG की बहाली प्रदेश के लिए अत्यंत आवश्यक है। केंद्रीय वित्त मंत्री जी ने राज्य के लोगों की मांगों पर सकारात्मक विचार का आश्वासन दिया।

The targetted assassination of the leadership of a sovereign nation by the so called leaders of the democratic world and the killing of multitudes of innocent people is despicable and deserves strong condemnation, no matter what the proclaimed reason for it is. It is tragic that multiple nations have now been dragged into conflict. The world needs peace not more unnecessary wars. Those in charge of it would do well to remember Mahatma Gandhi’s words: An eye for an eye makes the whole world blind. I do hope that having genuflected before the Prime Minister of Israel and President Trump, our Prime Minister makes every effort to bring all Indian citizens in the affected countries back home to safety.

प्रदेश के संसाधनों को लुटाने वाले लोग विधानसभा में हंगामा कर सच को दबाने की कोशिश करते रहे, लेकिन हंगामा कर सच कभी झुठलाया नहीं जा सकता और न ही जनता को भ्रमित किया जा सकता है। RDG हर प्रदेशवासी का संवैधानिक अधिकार है और हम उनके हक की सुरक्षा के साथ-साथ यह सुनिश्चित कर रहे हैं कि प्रदेश ईमानदारी, न्याय एवं सतत विकास की राह पर मजबूती से आगे बढ़ता रहे।

मातृभाषा हमारी चेतना को दिशा देती है, विचार फैलते हैं और संवेदनाएँ पूरी तरह प्रकट होती हैं। यह हमारी लोकपरंपराओं और सांस्कृतिक अनुभवों की जीवंत धारा है, यह हम सभी को एक सूत्र में बाँधती है। मातृभाषा का संवर्धन सांस्कृतिक स्वतंत्रता और बौद्धिक समृद्धि की नींव को मजबूत करता है। आप सभी को अंतरराष्ट्रीय मातृभाषा दिवस की हार्दिक शुभकामनाएँ।

RDG को लेकर भाजपा का रवैया प्रदेश के हित में नहीं है। अब वे खुलकर इसका विरोध कर रहे हैं, जबकि यह मुद्दा सीधे तौर पर जनता के अधिकार से जुड़ा है। हिमाचल प्रदेश की जनता समझदार है और भली-भांति जानती है कि प्रदेश के हित में खड़ा न होने वाली भाजपा को कभी मौका नहीं देना चाहिए। हम अपने संसाधनों को मजबूत बनाकर 2032 तक आत्मनिर्भर हिमाचल का संकल्प पूरा करेंगे।

RDG को रोकने के पीछे एक कारण यह है कि किसानों और पशुपालकों को दूध, गेहूँ, मक्की और हल्दी पर दी जाने वाली MSP को खत्म किया जाए और कर्मचारियों को दी जाने वाली OPS भी बंद हो। लेकिन यह अन्यायपूर्ण कदम किसी भी कीमत पर स्वीकार नहीं किया जाएगा। हम केंद्र सरकार से अपना हक मांग रहे हैं, कोई खैरात नहीं। कर्मचारियों को ओपीएस और किसानों-पशु पालकों को एमएसपी जारी रहेगा।
