Unlike caste based backwardness, this can be fixed with right based litigations and funding and implementation by central and state government. Wealth does not completely erase caste bias, meaning a person can be rich yet still face social barriers. I am reiterating, reservation is for representation of certain groups. For economic upliftment, there is a measure called redistribution of wealth. Have you ever heard that "poors are under-represented in institutions of the country like media courts etc"? No. Because if you get there, you are no more poor. BUT if you are socially backward then it does not matter whether you are rich or poor, you are socially considered backward and discriminated against. To remove this social hierarchy, reservation is done to posts in the country to represent them. Policy will be made by those groups then it will naturally also benefit them. Donno why you are confusing it with economic status. Inequality reduction is a different thing altogether. And it is done without any "reservation".

@INC_Sangam @Chaotic_mind99 Now, isn't it injustice met out to financially backward classes? How can they expect to get quality education ever then, if this continues? Won't they be permanently sidelined and discrimated , similar to caste discrimation in the longer run if these shortcomings continue?

Reservation Hatao Movement has reached close to 4M followers in less than 2-3 days. 99% of its audience is of BJP supporters. What do you think will be the future of this movement ?

Let me not go on giving explanations if you don't understand that. Just read Indira Sawhney case. As a matter of fact, PVN Rao-led Congress government tried to bring 10% economic-basis reservation in 1992 itself but it was rejected by court. Article 16(4) of the Constitution specifically uses the phrase "backward class of citizens". The majority held that "backwardness" must be primarily social and educational, not purely financial. AND NOW IF YOU ASK ME HOW IS THERE EWS QUOTA SINCE 2019, THEN THE ANSWER IS THAT THE CONSTITUTION HAS BEEN AMENDED. 103rd amendment allowed it. The point is that it was illogical then in 1992, and it is still now. Quality education is found in Kendriya Vidyalayas too. Their pass % is too high. The thing is that most state governments have been spending less on public education and since a decade the central spending has also been cut to half. There is no basis of saying quality education will be found only if you pay a hefty amount of money. ACTUALLY YOU ARE PAYING A HEFTY AMOUNT OF MONEY ITSELF because the structure for providing you quality education by the state has been compromised. 90 thousand govt schools closed and private schools opened in place. Its simply lack of choice. Not that govt schools inherently are bad.

@INC_Sangam @Chaotic_mind99 But coming out from poverty requires quality education. And quality education is achieved only by more wealth unfortunately. So the poor are stuck and continue to be poor due to lack of quality education..

That is also illogical. And that didn't exist since decades solely because it is just illogical. I request you to think it above caste affiliation. Poor people are being granted, and have to be granted special measures and rights for their upliftment not for their representation. There is nothing like giving "representation" to poor people. Its about representation to backward and marginalised groups. Poors in themselves aren't a group which cannot transition into middle class and subsequently rich. SC ST OBC EBC cannot become socio-economically dominant all of a sudden. For the question of basic rights, they are already there such as Right to Education, Food security act, MGNREGA (howsoever diluted it has become), etc. These are the schemes for economic upliftment. At macroeconomic level the measures are relief in taxation, increasing spending capacity, providing employment opportunities, and if possible, wealth redistribution. In short, the sharing of resources and assets. Reservation for marginalised groups is entirely different. Representation shouldn't be confused with financial upliftment.

@INC_Sangam @Chaotic_mind99 Why we have EWS quota already. How will poor people who don't have privilege of basic facilities get into good colleges or govt jobs then?

@ArjSwami1 @Chaotic_mind99 No country givs reservation of basis of economic well-being. Its simply illogical. For eonomic equality, redistribution is done, not reservation.

@Chaotic_mind99 Wealth based reservation could be considered instead of caste based reservation. It will then empower truly deserving people. At the same time help eradicate caste. A wealthy so called SC/ST getting admission or govt job easily than a poor General or OBC is unjustifiable.

Waiting for Modi's ouster in these 4 days. Btw a part of RaGa's speech today: "धर्मेंद्र प्रधान का इस्तीफा हमारे education system को फिर से संवारने की दिशा में बहुत बड़ा कदम है। शाबाश देश भर के छात्रों, आप सभी पर गर्व है। ये समाज के दूसरे वर्गों किसानों, मजदूरों, गरीबों, हर वो व्यक्ति जिसे इस सरकार ने दबाया है, कुचला है - अपने सम्मान के लिए संवैधानिक तरीके से डटकर खड़े होने में ही असली साहस है। इस सरकार को हटाने का वक्त आ गया है। डरो मत!"

A reminder of what I had said back on May 2: While Modi himself remains intact still, with the late July to late August period just beginning, this period already claims its first casualty for the Modi govt: a rare forced resignation by his minister for non-performance.

All stars are aligning. Now crude oil is also near $100 mark. Situation will be worse. If they increase even a rupee on petrol diesel lpg now then they will be dealt with, by the people (and why not? they didnt pass benefit when it fell to $70 and have already been looting over it since 12 years).

Back on 4 March, I had given 19-23 Jun and 20-22 Jul as among the critical dates for the UK. I had of course also predicted that Keir Starmer would be giving way to someone else. 19-23 Jun: Starmer announced stepping down 20-22 Jul: Andy Burnham becomes the new PM #UK

Well if one could not see 8.8% GDP growth in 2009-10 and 10.78% in 2010-11 (when RBI estimated just 6% and government's economic survey also said 7-7.5% possible), the penetration of RTI, the constant push for reforms (whether they were passed or not is another matter but the government introduced them) such as JSAB 2010 NJC 2013-14, disinvestment policy, women reservation bill 2010, GST, Net FDI inflows hitting $ 2.3B+ in 2009-10 (which is 8x more than what we got in 2025), India Inc repeatedly saying and publishing reports of India becoming affluent/advanced economy within 2 decades (centennenial group and emerging markets forum being a highlight of 2009), per capita growing to $22000 (even if you think it was optimistic, which it was, then also you can just see the CAGR which was already achieved in UPA, that 9.55% CAGR alone would've taken us to 15000$+ per capita by 2039 but if we see the 5% CAGR which we have achieved under these modi years then we will hardly cross $5000 per capita mark in 2039), all those sorts of reforms in education, healthcare, bureaucracy.. multiple got passed, many did not. Food Security Bill tabled on 2011 passed in 2013, The rapid rise in rural roads (almost 640% in 2014 as compared to 2004 vs just 100% increase in 2024 as compared to 2014), marvellous architecture like the BANDRA-WORLI SEA LINK, the profits made by railways, the pay commissions, the low operating ratio which meant more efficiency for railways, the budgets which were highly anticipated by corporates and India Inc, the accountability everyone used to take (highlight is 2009 july Shreedharan tendering his resignation over collapse of a part of delhi metro "which although has under-construction". As a matter of fact people and even bjp spokespersons requested him to not resign... in these times lakhs and crores of people are asking dharmendra pradhan to resign but he doesnt.. such shamelessness has the copyright of bjp), the free media which used to criticize the government over price rise, inflation, etc. Such sense of freedom existed. And most of this which I have said especially the highlighted examples, are all just between the first 2 months of UPA2 government formation. From 15th May 2009 till 1st August 2009. You should hide your head in shame. If one couldn't see this, then the phrase that "nazar ka ilaaj ho sakta hai magar nazariye ka nahi" fits aptly.

#WATCH | Delhi: On ethanol, Vikram Gulati, Country Head and Executive Vice President (Corporate Affairs and Governance) of Toyota Kirloskar Motor, says, "Ethanol is a very good fuel. Its run is much higher, therefore very good drivability. It's nothing new. Initially in the early 1900s, when the new automobile started to roll out, it was ethanol that was used. Its performance is so good that it is used in Formula One racing cars. The fuel itself is very good from a performance point of view... It is also clean fuel... This is a zero-carbon fuel because it's derived from plants... What happened 2-3 months back was a wake-up call and an extremely strong reminder of the vulnerability we face because of energy being imported... In this tough time, crude availability also became an issue..."

This quote is post kargil war lol atleast learn about things.. everything isn't available on whatsapp.. actually nothing "correct" is available on it. Kargil war happened because of Pakistanis crossed the LoC and infiltrated into high-altitude peaks on the Indian side in Ladakh. Vajpayee strictly ordered them not to cross the LoC into Pakistan-administered territory, just to evict the intruders. During the end of the Kargil War, General V.P. Malik argued that to finish the job and permanently secure the area, the Indian Army should cross the LoC to attack Pakistani logistical bases. Vajpayee flatly refused. And he did correct also.. waging open war was not our task. But problem happens when bhajipaos ignore this.. a literal war... and go on fictionally saying that congress was soft on pak LOLLLL.

In 1999, the Indian Army was ready to cross the LoC, but Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee instructed the forces to let go of Pakistan, as stated by General V. P. Malik. Failure of Operation Parakram where we lost 1874 soldiers which cost us $4 billion without even firing a single bullet. I dont blame vajpayee for this.. just that if you have problem in acknowledging how diplomacy actually works.. how UPA did its job efficiently.. then see how Vajpayee did that. Only difference is that he failed.

Finally you have resorted to the actual reason why you support Bjp. Every fuckin voter of theirs supports them due to this very reason! Hindustan-pakistan hindu-musalman.. thats it. Thus all talks of fictional development and policy are worthless ! I have taken off the mask of another one. Anyways, in history books it will be written which government was better in policy decisions and strategic decisions with Pakistan and which CIA puppets were busy with marketing. This level of normalisation of incompetence will not exist. Again its the answer why bjp doesn't cares to be accountable, be rational or atleast do some sort of development. Because they know that its not why they are voted. There is no bigger china-pakistan chatukaar government perhaps in the entire world which also is compromised to USA. It will be remembered of course. Just like you all sided with the british and were out of power for 30 years after independence (came into power with just 80 seats due to alliance), compromising with such powers will cost you another century. Maybe you will face aftermath like tmc lol.

For people to not just copy paste incidents separately, they are counted in official records. As far as mainland India is concerned, from highest under Vajpayee NDA, it feel under UPA, and that pace has also continued under post-2014 NDA. NDA Total Fatality Incidents (2000–2004): 10,143 incidents Cumulative Fatalities: ~15,100+ lives lost (including civilians, security forces, and armed insurgents). UPA Total Fatality Incidents (2004–2014): 9,905 incidents Total Cumulative Fatalities: Over 15,000+ total deaths recorded pan-India. Shouldn't you feel ashamed that you dont consider how bad situation was in just 5 years of Vajpayee that even 10 years of UPA didn't had such amount of terror incidents across India? This same pace continued post-2014. Actually in the year 2004, 2300+ incidents were recorded which were reduced to just 523 in 2014 due to correct policies of Congress. And again, its a punchline that terror incidents in 10 years of Congress are equal or perhaps less than even 5 years of Vajpayee. Before you shout shit about numbers (as if they will turn fake on basis of your likes), the source is listed here: web.archive.org/web/2026060106…
