We are so proud to share with you our 2025 Annual Report, Growing Our Ground, a living document of everything we planted, tended, and harvested together this past year.
In a year of hostile narratives, funding shifts, and anti-rights movements convening on our soil, INEND chose not to hunker down. We chose to plant deeper.
Before the numbers, before the programmes, before the impact, there is a vision. And our Board Chair, Diana Gichengo, holds it with both hands."INEND was not built to exist only when conditions were favourable. We were built precisely for moments like this."
Essy Adhiambo, INEND Executive Director explains why Growing Our Ground is important :
"Land is political. For queer Kenyans, owning land, or even inheriting it, remains a radical act. Succession systems exclude us. Blood families disown and disinherit us."
But the weather is temporary, and the garden is not. Thus, our 2025 Annual Report, Growing Our Ground, is here: single-issue lives.”
