The Officer Trainees of ICAS (2024 Batch) called on Secretary (Expenditure) Shri V. Vualnam today, gaining valuable insights from his experience while sharing their own perspectives. ICAS Officer Trainees (OTs) of the 2024 batch called-on to the Controller General of Accounts of India and other senior ICAS officers - Addl.CGAs, Jt.CGAs and Dy.CGAs at the O/o CGA and engaged in an insightful interaction with them. The session provided valuable guidance on public financial management, professional responsibilities, and the evolving role of ICAS in governance. The interaction also served as a motivating platform for young officers, before proceeding on their On-the-Job training from May 2026, to align their aspirations with the vision and priorities of the organisation. @CGAofIndia

An engaging and insightful interaction was held between the Controller General of Accounts and ICAS Probationers 2024 Batch on completion of their Departmental Training Course at INGAF. The session featured presentations by 6 probationers, who shared key learnings and experiences from various aspects of their training journey, reflecting growth, practical exposure, and institutional learning. INGAF today concluded fifth and final ITEC programme of 2025-26, titled “Audit & Internal Control for Financial Discipline” (9th-20th March 2026). Valedictory session was graced by Sh. Viraj Singh, Addl. Secretary, Ministry of External Affairs, as a Chief Guest. The programme witnessed participation from five countries—Russia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, and Fiji—fostering international collaboration and exchange of best practices. Over the past two weeks, it provided a comprehensive platform for knowledge sharing, capacity building, and strengthening audit and internal control systems. The Controller General of Accounts of India (CGA), Ms. T.C.A.Kalyani, hosted a delegation from the Republic of Fiji led by Hon’ble Finance Minister Mr. Esrom Immanuel on 10th Feb, 2026 at New Delhi. Discussions covered public finance practices of both the nations, including the digital transformation made by India in its PFMS processes. INGAF NER has organised the training programme for newly inducted Indian Civil Accounts Service (ICAS) officers appointed as Assistant Controller of Accounts from 19th to 23rd Jan, 2026 at the ATI, Govt of Mizoram, Aizawl.
