After exposing political scandals and abuses of power in Indonesia, journalist @chichafrancisca from @tempodotco became the target of a wave of intimidation. She has faced doxxing, social media threats, and at one point, she even received a package containing a pig’s head.

🚨Women journalists in Somalia are frequently targeted with online harassment, intimidation, and disinformation campaigns. Throughout the year, @sjs_Somalia documented repeated incidents of both online and offline attacks against women in media.
