Just 72 Angelenos could unlock nearly $500,000 in public matching funds for Spencer Pratt’s mayor campaign. Under LA’s 6:1 matching program, only LA City residents count... not Santa Monica, Long Beach, or “the LA area.” Pratt already has 333 qualifying city donors, but he’s ~$18,500 short on matchable dollars toward the mayor threshold ($77,100). Each LA City donor can count up to $257 toward that threshold (the matchable slice of the $1,800 limit). 72 people × $257 = $18,504 in new matchable money → clears the gap. Once qualified, that full matchable pool is matched 6:1. At the $77,100 threshold, that’s roughly $462,600 in public matching funds 72 residents. $257 each. ~$463k in public match on the table.

Two weeks ago, the Judicial Qualifications Commission confidentially notified the Democrat backed candidates for the Supreme Court - Jen Jordan and Miracle Rankin - that it was investigating them for violations of the Georgia Code of Judicial Conduct. The Democrats immediately filed a secret lawsuit against the JQC to stop the investigation. The lawsuit was assigned to Stacey Abrams's sister, a federal judge appointed by President Obama. Judge Abrams, again in secret, blocked the JQC from investigating. The Democrats continued their violations with impunity. Over the weekend, the Court of Appeals overruled Abrams. Today - one day before the election, after nearly a million Georgians have already voted - the Judicial Qualifications Commission issued a statement that Jordan and Rankin have engaged in multiple, serial violations of the Code. This is a stunning abuse of the legal process by lawyers who are seeking to become judges - impartial dispensers of justice. VOTE FOR THE STATEWIDE JUDICIAL INCUMBENTS IN GEORGIA.
