The IOS Police urge all members of the community to consider the serious impact that drink driving can have on their employment, their families, and the wider community. An investigation is ongoing after an incident over the weekend where a person is suspected of drink driving.

Great to catch up with our fellow emergency services today for a festive breakfast get-together — and without meeting at an incident! Huge thanks to IOS Fire and Rescue for hosting us. Teamwork and connectivity on the islands are invaluable, and we do it really well, IMHO ☺️🎄

Officers on #ios have been actively involved with this year’s #OpLimit, targeting drink/drug driving. We are pleased to report that so far everyone spoken to have been responsible. We are pleased to see taxi’s being used by the majority to travel too and from a night out👍🏻🎄

What a great community spirit we have on the #ios 👏🏻 when the children can’t get safely to school due to #StormBram at Old Town the local community come to the rescue 👍🏻 well done PC Reed for keeping the children safe 😀 💨🌊
