Just tell me this isn’t about the Nigeria Police Force (@PoliceNG) It’s rare to see that level of human care from them. I’ve said this before, but it still hits me every time I remember it. A member of the Devon and Cornwall Police (@DC_Police) was on duty when he saw me and another Nigerian walking where we had no business being. We had missed our stop and ended up far off, with no choice but to keep moving on a motorway. He stopped, looked at us, and asked straight, “Do you want to kill yourselves walking here?” That question alone shook me. Next thing, he told us to get in. This police officer drove us and dropped both of us at our workplaces without stress, without drama, just pure concern. That moment stays with me forever because he chose to be human first. That’s what real humanity looks like. Nigerian police are not human. 🤷‍♂️
