@TreyYingst The problem is nobody trusts him anymore. Which is why this thing isn't going to end without publicly verifiable acts of withdrawal. This is embarrassing to watch and read.

President Trump told me he's given Iranian negotiators "immunity from death," something they asked for. "The big thing is they're not going to have a nuclear weapon. They're not even negotiating that point, it's so easy," the President added. "That's already been conceded. Most of the points are conceded."

@aleabitoreddit This is like the lead up to Covid. Everybody was in denial. Being long anything that is inversely correlated with interest rates and energy costs is crazy.

I thought this was fake for a sec. How is this a real post from our President? Optics aside, not as fun when markets move based on Trump posts over fundamentals…

Two things that I like about this Trump quote: 1. The strategic stupidity of threatening Iran like this when it holds the Bab el Mandeb card and can shut down the Red Sea in 5 minutes notice, causing global havoc; when it has allowed substantial parts of the Gulf to keep operating, but can bring everything to a stop, sending oil prices to $200+, and also when it has major escalatory cards against Israel and other colonial hubs in West Asia. 2. The ridiculous attempt by Trump to sound like he's a blue collar, simple, hard-working American, while growing up in a family of German slumlord billionaires. The military power, the conviction and the self image: all fake. - What a week we're entering (after which Iran will look even more glorious than it does today)

JUST IN - Trump tells Iran: "Open the Fuckin' Strait, you crazy bastards, or you'll be living in Hell."

@pati_marins64 You mean that whole area will become toxic and oil will need to be exported via the Mediterranean? I wonder what’s prompting this idea

US-Israel nuclear trap Under immense global economic pressure and facing a domestic inflation crisis, President Trump,in coordination with Israel, made the fateful decision on March 21 to bomb the Iranian nuclear facility at Natanz. Iran has interpreted this strike as a deliberate attempt by the coalition to trigger a catastrophic nuclear incident, a “shortcut” to victory through environmental and humanitarian disaster. This bombardment follows only days after a projectile struck the vicinity of the Bushehr reactor, sparking widespread protests. Yesterday, Iran retaliated with a heavy strike on Dimona, home to Israel’s most critical nuclear reactor. There is no doubt that the Iranian most modern arsenal, possesses some precision-guided missiles capable of striking Dimona reactor, and the reverse is equally true. We are witnessing a terrifying escalation, with both nations trading threats of triggering a nuclear incident. This is the definition of wartime insanity. The situation is further complicated by the fact that Iran has not been inspected for nearly nine months, more than enough time to have clandestinely developed a nuclear weapon. Technically, Iran is already an ambiguous nuclear power; it possesses the chemical material, the technology means, the timeframe, and at least 4 to 6 models of modern dual-capable missiles designed to carry nuclear warheads. What if this ends in a nuclear exchange? We must recognize the sheer madness this senseless war is driving us toward. At no point has the conflict de-escalated. On the contrary, the range and sophistication of Iranian missile launches continue to expand. The coalition’s munitions are running low, yet Iran keeps firing; The war is becoming prohibitively expensive; inflation is surging in U.S and in the world; Gulf nations face billion-dollar losses; Asian allies are undersupplied; the Strait remains blocked; and the bombings have failed to produce the desired effect, With falling war popularity and elections approaching for Trump, and Netanyahu seeking a judicial reprieve, the pressure is mounting. This pressure is fertile ground for nuclear escalation, the dangerous belief in a “magic bullet” that could end all problems in few hours. However, in Iran’s case, this may only invite a devastating retaliation from hardened silos using nuclear weapons that, at a basic level, could be assembled in a week. By targeting Natanz, the coalition has already violated Article 56 of the Additional Protocol I to the Geneva Conventions, which forbids attacks on nuclear facilities, -Even militaries -, due to the risk of “releasing dangerous forces.” They are opening a nuclear door that is escalating faster than anticipated, and if not contained now, the fallout will be far greater than anyone predicted. You spent years stacking and building your portfolio of equities, bonds, real estate. There is a good chance you’ll watch it evaporate in 3 weeks when Iran has no choice but to destroy gulf oil facilities to put economic pressure on the world to reign in the U.S.

Here's a better idea: replace this shuttered 160-acre racetrack with 50 acres of ultra-high-density development, and build a park on the remaining 110 acres. This will meet Albany's housing element 50 times over while helping fund the new park (and burying the highway).

The shuttered racetrack could be transformed into a 161-acre waterfront park linking Albany, Berkeley and miles of East Bay shoreline, in a deal announced Tuesday by the Trust for Public Land. sfchronicle.com/bayarea/articl…

He's ending the war? Newsflash -- as i have been saying. It's not up to him. He walked into a trap starting a war he can't finish. Iranians will keep firing until troops on the ground are required, and then Russia and China will be cut loose. Impeach the guy for idiocy.

a guy approached me at dolores park yesterday he was nice. respectful. sweet. i told him i had a bf. he said thank you and left but a few minutes later i couldn’t stop thinking about it how rare it is these days for a guy to have the courage to approach and risk rejection so i went back to find him i told him i really respected it, and encouraged him to keep trying he admitted that it's a bit nerve-wracking but he does it because he doesn’t believe in dating apps so i took his number and want to help him: he’s 24, tall, good looking, works in tech, very sociable, and is looking for a girlfriend dm me if you want to meet him or send this to someone who does :)
